I had already signed a purchase agreement and put a deposit down on a very nice 2019 GT350. Very well optioned and it was also the Orange Fury color I want. Sorry about the color, I know lots of you guys like the quiet colors but all the way back to my BOSS 302 cars I like bright colors. Any way I was scheduled to pickup my Shelby today but got a call earlier this week telling me the car was in an accident. The now fired general manager showed his ass and slid the Shelby into a curb deploying both left and right side shoulder air bag rows and braking the back right rim. The tire was also damaged.

I was thinking you guys would be interested and also wondering if anyone else has been through this.

Well, yes I’ve seen these things happen with high powered cars at dealerships. I love Orange Fury and almost bought that color as well. Get your deposit back and keep hunting.

If its really wrecked don't accept it. I have heard of people concocting such stories to make buyers pull out of an agreement when someone else offers to pay more. Not just on cars.
Yep, I'd do two things:
1) Go look at the car and note the VIN
2) Tell them you won't accept a repair (cars do get damaged in transit and repaired before new car delivery all the time, but that's for things like paint chips or light scratches; serious damage should not qualify)

Or ask for a big discount. If it's good as new and comes with a big discount, I wouldn't complain :)

sounds like they were testing the Track Apps / Accelerometer to see if its working before delivering the car but forgot that brand new tires don't grip as well.

If the airbags went off, the insurance company might total it. Sounds like a very hard hit. No way I’d take that car.

My local dealer has a GT350R in Orange Fury with white stripes. Also another member on here lists a GT350 in Orange Fury in their signature for lower than MSRP, can't recall who but maybe he'll see this.

PM me if you want the dealer name for the GT350R has some orange peel and body fitment but no worse than most.

I don't know. instant 35% discount and new right rear suspension assembly as condition of sale.
