Tow Hook for 2018 GT

Has anyone found or mounted a TOW HOOK on a 2018 Mustang GT? I'm doing my first track day (1,250/mi. broken in) and I have not found a solution yet.

I do believe there's big differences between actual racing, and a track day. VIR does a Friday At The Track, no tow hook is necessary.

First one I’ve seen for the 18’s. Thanks. Most tracks require a tow hook regardless if it’s a race or just a track day.

If the track you're running at has gravel in the runoff areas, you'll definitely want a tow hook. Even a simple off can leave you stuck, and the tow truck needs something to hook to so they can pull you out without damaging the car.

Cheap insurance.

Has anyone installed the ZL1 addons tow hook on their 2018+

I have one installed in the front center of the car. I had to drill the crash bar which is Hardened Steel and I had to use Cobalt drill bits. Took about 2 hours to do the job.

I installed the Ford Performance front hook. Had to drill two holes in the cross bar. Don't worry about the front end being completely off. It all goes back together easily.

Thanks. Do you have any pics? I was looking to get the one which mentions no drilling required. It's oriented to the left side of the lower grille rather than the center.

I don't think there's a Ford Performance option for regular GTs. Yours is a GT350 I'm guessing.

You are correct mine was a GT350.

Has anyone installed the ZL1 addons tow hook on their 2018+

I tried and I can’t get it lined up with the lower honeycomb. Mine is a pp2 and I can’t access the hook mount from beneath with the splitter.
