And in addition to the above very few of the ~1250 CFTP allocations have been pulled to date therefore there is a very long ways to go.

You can be rest assured that some of the Golden Ticket allocations will be awarded even as late as next Spring.

Also from what I gather is a certain percentage of the 1,250 projected CFTP cars to be built, those dealers already know and are set in stone so to speak. Just a waiting game for them and the customer who ordered to know 100% once the VIN# is assigned. In my situation, a dealer had bought a handful of allocations in his zone, mostly small scale dealers. Therefore I am assigned to a certain dealer who with no surprise did not get that CFTP allocation. But I still have a small chance if he does get 3 in his zone and my order has not been completed with Ford.

Agreed that the FRAP has the last say with respect to scheduled production but they have absolutely no jurisdiction or impact when it comes to vehicle allocation.

Keep in mind that the FRAP will take direction from Dearborn when it comes to scheduled production dates for VIP vehicles therefore there are some exceptions to the above.

I placed an order for a CFTP and was notified within 2 hours that my order needed to be changed to a Base because of allocation’s. The Ford region rep called my dealer to inform him of allocation guide lines, and assured my dealer that he could place the order but it would never get pulled for build. So in short the regional rep knows.

Each enrolled dealership gets 1 allocation but who do you think awards the 2nd and 3rd allocations for any given dealership which allows them to receive a Golden Ticket?

Also, keep in mind that many of the early allocations for any limited production launch cars such as the 2012/2013 Boss 302 Laguna Seca's, 2015 Mustang GT Anniversary cars and the 2015 GT350/R's these allocations were largely done on a VIP basis and in some cases as was with the 2015 GT350 Track Pack/Tech Pack cars those vehicles were also done on a U.S. only lottery basis.

Which is true if you have earned 3 allocation’s. The allocations are handed out by previous Shelby sales.

The only thing I’m bummed out about is, I had a mid size dealer who was going to order a CFTP at MSRP for me! I’ll take the base, still an amazing machine! I just don’t like how the Golden Ticket will be held by large ADM mark ups from most dealers.

I don't like it either. Regardless of ADM, I banked on the precedent that large dealers would get the orders pulled first. Oh contraire

That's the reason I attached the picture, it explains how the allocations are earned. There are exceptions, like Awards to dealers (Presidents Award), the lottery which usually happens at the end of the MY and the company can decide to do whatever they want when it comes to allocations beyond the rules set down by info in the picture I posted.
