Hey guys, when I first installed this setup on my 2017 mustang GT, I was using the hobbs switch, which fore recommended me to use cause of heat. I was using a different tuner at the time and he was fine with it. I ended up blowing two cylinders out of my motor and rebuilt it and now I'm using Lund. Lund told me they want both my pumps to run all the time, so I am deleting the hobbs switch. The guy from Lund told me I can just cut the hob switch wire and hook them up together and both pumps will be on all the time. I'm a little weary about doing that and I would rather just hook up the fc3 controller without the Hobbs switch wiring how to make it one less connection to maybe fail in the future. So would I just unhook the Hobbs switch 2 wires and just pigtail the remote from pump one and run that into pump 2 and 3 also? Trying to make sure I do this right.
My issue is I'm paranoid also because we are doing street tuning and right now my car won't go over 6000 RPMs and it feels like it's cutting out fuel or something. Hell, it might even be a soft rev limiter they forgot to take off at around that RPM. obviously I can't get ahold of Lund till tomorrow so they can check the data log, but Lund Jr wanted me to do a 7500 RPM pull, obviously I can't even get over 6000. Any help would be greatly appreciated on what you think might be happening and making sure I rewire the controller correctly or if what I did is perfectly fine with just hooking up both wires directly from the hob switch.
He told me that everything was looking perfect (fuel and timing) when he wanted me to do a wot until 5500 and told me to use the same tune to do one to 7500.
