2020 GT500 confirmed orders

I am a peasant so I won’t get mine until next year. It is Ok though because the weather will not be at its best in December and January even in SoCal. It also gives me more time to dig through public garbage cans for bottles to redeem at the recycling facility. How many plastic bottles do I need to pay for a Shelby GT500?

Well, let's see.... If you get the CFTP AND check all the boxes, you are looking at $115,000 after taxes, title, etc (out the door). If you live in MI, I believe each bottle is about 10 cents. Some simple math tells me you need to collect 1,150,000 bottles to reach that goal. Now the adm would probably add another 300,000 bottles needed to reach that goal.

You have your work cut out for you.

Edited to add... is that what all those homeless people are doing in all the big California cities I visit so frquently?

Perfect timing for me...I’ve been paying alimony for over 14 years..I’ll be done in the Spring just as my car comes off the line...it’ll be my Post-Alimony gift to myself!

LOL! I do have my work cut out for me. Fortunately the Carbon Fiber Track Pack version wasn’t available for me and I avoided the traditional CA ADM by ordering the car as far away from CA as possible. I only need 900,000 bottles. If you see a maniac on the news wrestling homeless people disposed bottles it is me.

Let me just add for anyone out there that is very "young" that you need to remember this as part of your package you are ordering: SALES TAX AT THE COURT HOUSE--SERIOUS OUCH, PLATE FEES, INSURANCE ON OUR NEW BABYS, MOST (LIKE ME) WILL WANT TO PUT ON CERAMIC COATING AND A CLEAR BRA (NOT CHEAP) PROFESSIONALLY, INDOOR CAR COVER. That's my build minus tech pack and I have rocker panel vinyl. I chose to get a indoor cover too, just to keep the dust off over the winter. I was thinking about painted stripes as well. Got a year to figure it out.

You got it! Not even counting the insurance adds 15K on a 100K car.
Expel and coating isnt cheap. TTL = 8%
