After reading your post I decided to check the status of my vehicle. I haven’t checked in almost 2 weeks since it was so aggravating to watch the number climb to over 50 days, my original delivery date was 4/4.

Well, unlike you I do not have a new delivery date. My delivery date is now N/A. I am not sure what that means but I did contact my salesperson to let him know and asked that they contact Ford to see exactly what N/A means.

I can’t wait to hear what the latest excuse is for not releasing my vehicle for transport.
I’m sorry to hear, but it doesn’t mean anything until it shows up. When my sales person told me it was the stripes, he asked if I wanted to ship it without them, I said yes, so it let the ford rep know about this. Although we never got a answer back, I don’t know if it shipped with or without. Here a screen shot of my order. Not sure if you can see it, my salesman thinks the transport has it, but then again he said he doesn’t know how ford handles a 60k car ( jokingly) View attachment 369029

Boy, that sure looks like it's been released to transport! Pickup on 06/03 with a delivery ETA of 06/09 is how I would read it! Exciting!

I remember when I ordered the Raptor, it took 6 months to arrive and sitting at ford for 2 months after built. I hope ours don’t take so long.

This is my ordering story!
I've ordered a GT350 from the same dealer I bought a 2012 Roush RS3 from.
Roush: Kona Blue, Red and White Stripes
Roush tune 575hp. Still have it and will keep it!
The dealer is selling the GT350 for sticker since
I purchased the Roush through them. The Roush was in my
driveway 4 weeks after I ordered it!

1/11/19 Order Shelby GT350 Ruby Red, White Strips, Teck Pack
Dealer already placed an order for a Magnetic Gray, Blue Strips Blend date 3/07/19
While I was sitting there placing my order they called their Ford Rep to
confirm they had second allocation. Answer was YES
2/28/19 Dealer ordered my car on from another dealer ship (Same owner for three dealerships)
3/1/19 Dealer calls to let me know they didn't have an allocation for a second car
The Ford Rep was in error! But they already ordered car from another dealership!
Lost 7 weeks between my order and their re-order
3/15/19 Get Vin # and Build week of 4/29 to 5/3
4/12/19 get Window sticker with blend date 5/1/19 Est Delivery 5/13/19
5/10/19 Est delivery changes to 5/20/19
5/17/19 Est delivery changes to 5/26/19
5/1/19 Car is produced
5/26/19 Still shows car is produced, not awaiting shipping.
Now I sit past Est delivery date like everyone else and wondering
WHAT IS FORD DOING!!

5/24/19 The Magnetic Gray Shelby shows up at dealer.
Looking at the blend date of this car 3/07/19
and the delivery of 5/24/19 That's 11 weeks.
Apply that to my blend date of 5/1/19, I might get my
car around 7/17/19 if I'm lucky. So disappointing!

I've called Ford performance, they recommended having the Ford zone rep call for info!
Called the dealer and asked for help from the Ford Rep and haven't a heard a word in 2 weeks.

Just sitting in Ford Twilight Zone!

Les, mine was produced five days after yours, and it's still in the same production status. I will almost guarantee you that it's stuck at the stripe shop with mine. They ran out of striping materials and the cars are on hold until they arrive. :headbang:

Hopefully your vehicle is in transport and it is delivered this week.

I will just wait to see if my dealer can find the time to get an answer from someone at Ford regarding my vehicle and what the latest hold-up may be.

And the car will be shipped in an open car carrier with no added protection or other added measures to protect it from any potential damage.

A couple of weeks back, when I told my tale of woo about ordering my car on 3/11 it hasn't changed from Order Processing, I was called a "rookie" with "rookie numbers", after reading all 49 pages of this thread tonight, whoever called me that was totally correct. I cannot tell everyone or anyone who will listen how entirely disappointed I am not only for myself, but for all of the people on this site that have worked extremely hard to put that hard earned money toward a car that apparently is not on anyone's list to get built, delivered or put on the road. I am at a loss for words. I have driven Fords all my life, bought them since 1979 and ordered well over 20 cars of all kinds of value, from Broncos to Mustangs, to Raptors, to Explorers. Never, never, never (did I say never?), have I ever experienced the Class A Hand Job I am getting over this car. Steering wheels, carbon fiber, stripes, transmissions, paint issues, all I can say is WTF? I was so bored on a 80 degree day today, I went car shopping. The Grand Sport Corvette, L2 that is sitting in a Chevy Dealer's Showroom has stripes, carbon fiber, a custom steering wheel, Cup 2 Tires on it and a manual transmission. Did Santa only visit the GM Factory? Don't get me wrong, I will never buy a Chevy, but really FORD, if anyone with a set of balls from the company is monitoring this site, can someone let us in on what is going on? I mean the cars being talked about here are only averaging 65K. Sorry, end of rant..........

RJay, people on this site have posted 3 different reasons why cars are held up all produced within 2 weeks of ours. Shifter part, steering wheel and stripes. It would be nice if Ford was more up front with what is going on. It’s sad that they can’t give an accurate delivery date. I know they say estimated delivery but to miss it by 2 months. (Talking about the Magnetic Gray GT350 my dealer just got in) I talked to Ford Performance 3 times. I asked if the stripes where done, not sure was the answer. I asked if was the steering wheel, might be was the answer! My conclusion is they have the same info on there screen that we see! The Ford Zone Rep for my dealer is useless! Took seven weeks to find out the dealer didn’t have a second allocation. Hasn’t made any effort to find out why car is held up! I’ll be paying attention to your posts RJay
To see when your car is released. Hopefully it won’t be another month and a half! Good luck!

I did some research on the transport company. A search of the vin# and store and there is no record on there website that is car is in transport. So, who know what is going on.. LOL. It is pretty cool, if you know the store's code, you can see all of the cars delivered within the last 90 days.

Based on the fact that Ford is too incompetent to deliver a car that is supposedly built I walked into Mercedes and pulled the trigger on this baby, 0-60 3.7 and comes with a track date at my choice of tracks.

I still seem to be on target for my July 17th date but of course it's Russian roulette at this point! I have a scheduled build for 6/21/19 so is that the blend date? This really is a fiasco and the fact that Ford is not reaching out to the customers affected is extremely poor for such a big company. Already owning a 2017 GT350 I can attest to first time buyers that you will absolutely LOVE this car. The exhaust note alone is pure heaven and to me there is something very special about owning this car which is why I ordered another one after stupidly getting rid of the first one. I also think that Ford should offer it's affected customers not only an explanation but something in addition like a few free oil changes, discounts on service, a car cover or gurney flap....etc for the way everyone has been treated. There is no excuse for leaving it's customers in the dark on a 65K specialty vehicle. As much as I can't wait to get this car shame on you Ford for such poor customer relations! I truly hope there are ford representatives reading these posts and realize how poorly they are treating their customers and do something about it to make things right. 65K for a car is no joke and people shouldn't be treated as such!

Not for nothing, but Chevy offers Corvette owners a 3000.00 loyalty discount when they buy another Corvette and you can get almost any color Grand Sport on any lot without all this hoopla. Ford should have a loyalty discount, but we'd have to have cars available for that to take place. Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

They can't get rid of the C7's on the lot with the C8 coming out.....huge discounts on Vettes right now.
