Condor1970 -

I think I’m getting this right from reading this thread and others. So on a 19 GT base I would need (in brief):

New “4 hole” dash panel/insert
Block middle vent
Gauge pack
Fish the lead from behind the sync/stereo/dash
Maybe at tune to activate one or both

Correct?

Thanks so much in advance!
Yes, correct. You may not even have to get a tune, since my 2018 Base GT actually has both gauges working without a tune. (Oil Pressure, and Vacuum gauge). They both appear to be working exactly as they should. Oil pressure at idle is about 30psi, which about what it should be. If the values seem off for some reason, then it may be prudent to take it in and have them calibrate the gauges accurately.

If you want to run the GT350 gauge set which has Oil Temp instead of Vacuum like on the Perf-Pack, then you will probably have to take it in, and have them adjust the programming to have those leads going to the vac gauge read the oil temp instead.

You really have top check Ebay frequently, or even local dealers and auto shops. Sometimes they get used parts in from totalled cars.
I just checked ebay! LOL!

Thanks for quick and detailed reply - much appreciated. I’ll bolo those parts.

To confirm what Condor1970 said....Here's the connector on my base 2018 GT. Now I just need to get those gauges and matching trim! :)

Perfect - great shot. That was next question of what the connector looked like.

Also, No issues or problems with trimming/ dremel the middle of the dash panels?

Thanks

I just puled the connector from it's original location behind the Sync Module. There was no need to trim anything. I just left it pulled up by the center vent location until I can get the corresponding trim. :sunglasses:

Thanks - But I saw somewhere earlier in this thread that you need to trim back parts of the vent bezel and housing to accommodate the white box the gauge sits in and sits over the middle vent. Correct?

That’s what I was talking about.

Hmmm, not sure. Don't have the gauges yet.

yes you will need to trim the front of the middle vent approximately 3/4". so. e leave it uncovered, I chose to cap mine with a piece of plastic.

Do you think It's necessary to cap it off? Just curious...

*Also, if anybody has the 4 hole Performance pack plastic trim for sale, PM me! Thanks!*

plenty of others have left it uncapped without any apparent issue. for the few minutes it took I just felt more comfortable considering how excessive heat can cause issues with electronics. The cap will always pop off easy enough if I wanted to return to stock.
