That's an interesting point. I was always told extended warranties run concurrent with your manufacturers warranty. Does the 48 month coverage you purchased begin at the time you purchased and continue for the next 48 months?I was quoted yesterday from Ford for my '16 with 20,000 miles, The 3/36 times out in two weeks. 48 month premium care $2889.00
You may be correct in FLAThere is no haggling over insurance in FL. Insurance is regulated and the published price is what you pay.
That was my point earlier, but you would have known that if you were from FL.

Insane is the correct answer.I would venture a guess they bought a 7 year plan... hence an addl' 48 months... otherwise that price point would be insane for one year of coverage.
Yep.No.
Racing voids the warranty. Bringing onto a track or strip does not.
I think the price will be higher if you wait. That's what others were posting about in this thread. My cost to get the warranty you mentioned is much higher.I'm seeing around $2280 to get 8 yr, 100k powertrain for my inbound '19..... with plans to do at least 15 track days a year, I think it's not a bad deal for an addl' 3 years of coverage... if nothing else it should help resale value a bit... Prob will wait till year 2 or 3 to decide though. I've never been one to get warranties on ANYTHING, but this may be an exception.
