It says environmental fallout right there with it....so probably stuff like acid rain or rail dust. Maybe even as far as bird poo and tree sap. The clear should stand up to those for the most part and be able to polish defects away, so if it is more severe damage they'll replace the panel.

Purchased mine through CNA National. Got their top of the line plan for 84 months /125k miles for around $3k when I purchased the car (Nov. 2016). Thought it was worth the piece of mind given the uncertainty with our motors.

But why? you get 5 years 36k miles for powertraiin anyway; when you get there, you can extend that powertrain for much less if you still have the car...

I was not aware you could extend the powertrain warranty on the car once it runs out for less than what I paid. You can do this through Ford?

Looked at the esp prices. The 8/75 policy costs $1845 more than the 8/60 policy. But the 8/100 policy is only $665 more than the 8/75. What is Ford expecting to happen between 60-75k miles‽

I just did some search and found this website https://championfordwarranty.com/ looks like around 100 $ cheaper than flood ford esp, what you all think? Looks legit
i do believe they are legit. yeah, about $100 cheaper for the plan i am looking at. however, they dont know how to spell "deductable" (flood ford is the spelling winner here as they get it right "deductible").

I bought the online flood ford with deductible for 1k. I believe it is 84 months or 70k miles (GT). Certainly for peace of mind.

Only the genuine Ford warranty is the one to get.

And you certainly can’t mod the car in any HP increase sort of way. I’m only using the X pipe and nothing else. In other words if you’ve done say a tune don’t bother.
The xpipe you mention ...is it a resonator
Delete? . I only ask because I ordered one and I don’t want to void any warranty. Thanks !

I was quoted yesterday from Ford for my '16 with 20,000 miles, The 3/36 times out in two weeks. 48 month premium care $2889.00
Go do a google search for Flood Ford. 2 years/18k miles is about $1400.00 and what I’m getting for the premium care.

I think you have to do it prior to the 3yr/36k expiring, but also see that it may be able to be done before 41 months of ownership, and less than 41k miles... but flood isn't the only dealer putting it online, do a search for ford esp warranty and quite a few options will pop up.

I think this came up before. It does void portions of your warranty relating to the exhaust. Anything from your resonator delete and aft, or any damage relating to a resonator delete would be grounds to void that claim for a warranty repair.
