Correct, the Dodge Demon is an ultra heavy strait line bomber... so why are you attempting to compare it to a track car..? Nobody cares exactly how fast it goes stock down the strip, because ANY car can go that fast if you are not worried about braking, or steering, or center of gravity, etc.

10 Year old Mustangs w/turbo can go quicker than the Demon in a strait line. But you'll never get the demon to be agile... hence, mullet.

I never compared the Demon to the GT500. Completely different cars.

Someone asked why the "Venom beats Demon" never materialized.

No GM or Ford product will beat that Dodge Demon, it's a very limited Niche vehicle.

Dealers and ADM are going to have a field day. When I bought our Explorer I was looking at the Raptors and the Bullet but the ADM and lack of removing it made us glad we stayed with the '18 sport. Those that get on a list, have dealer connections, or just random luck will make out like a bandit. Residual income is a bitch, yeah

Just like when the GT350 came out, it was pretty entertaining reading some of the ADM threads going on. Going to be the same thing with the GT500.

Anyone have info on how many GT500s Ford plans on making? I don't recall seeing any info on that.

Just a data point - MSRP for a 2019 GT350 non-R with tech pack is nearly 63k. I think you're a little light on the base. I'm thinking more like 68-70k base, 80k loaded.

Any idea what's involved to get a Demon to run 9's It ain't that easy. The demon right off the showroom floor is like a 11 second car.

Wrong. Your Gramma could drive a Demon to Mid 10's on a decently prepped track.

840HP, Drag Radials, Computer Tuned suspension for Drag Racing and a Transbrake.

Drive off the showroom floor with a quarter tank of high octane gas and 10's all day.

The Demon is an amazing car if all you want to do is drive 1320 feet Fast and spend $100,000.00 doing so.

Glad to see that not all models come with that wing, I think it looks great without it. DCT should make for a quick car. Wondering if the curb weight rumors were true though. Wondering entry level MSRP too.

I'd say that is more accurate.

Add in all that Carbon fiber and other options and High $80's seems about right.

ADM 0f $25,000.00 plus and all you'll need is about a $120,000.00 including Taxes to drive one home.

That is most incorrect. I do believe Motortrend and/or Car & Driver couldn't get one to go quicker then a mid 11 off the show room floor.

Per Speed Phenom on YouTube, there will be around 5,000 built per year. Carbon Fiber Track Pack will be more than $10k. Also car will weigh more than 3,800 lbs
