Hi everybody,

I'm from New Caledonia and I'd like to purchase the Ford Performance Handling track pack MFR3AM8A, my forwarding agent needs the weight and dimension of the "packaging".
Is there anybody that has already bought this kit have this information ?

It'll help me a lot !

Thanks in advance ;-)

I almost went with this kit myself. I love my Steeda setup, but assembling the front struts/springs literally took me DAYS to do. The pre-assembled struts in the FP package are a very good idea.

I would email the sales department at an enthusiast website such as LMR.com and ask them. Here's a link to their page for the Handling Pack: https://lmr.com/item/MFR3AM8A/mustang-ford-performance-track-handling-pack-15-18

I replaced all those same components with Steeda parts and saved all the stock parts, which ironically, I just moved around in my garage this past weekend. I would GUESS that all the parts in the Ford kit weigh 110-120 pounds (55Kg). What's going to "get you" shipping-wise is the swaybars. They are long and therefore their boxes will incur cost for a high dimensional shipping charge.

Good luck!

I guess they put it in one big box vs. sending multiple smaller boxes with the swaybars in one, struts in the other, etc. That's a big crate, man! You'll have to consider how you'll get it home, unless you arrange for delivery from the air terminal to your house. In the states, when something like this ships "freight" a big truck pulls up to your house, the guy opens the door to the trailer, points to your box and says "There it is." It's your problem how you get it off the truck. Plan ahead!

Exactly, That's the reason why I'm searching info prior to organize everything ! Our small island is beautiful but damn it's far from everything :-(
CJ propose 780usd for air freight shipping, finally it's not as expensive as it looks regarding the crate size !

Its deceiving, when I opened the box, there are 3 boxes inside and a lot of empty space. one box with the struts, one box of sway bars, and the other had springs, shocks and misc. I ordered mine from levitown,I think it ships directly from ford. maybe whom ever you buy it from could have it shipped to them. Then, have them send the boxes separately to you. I don't know if it would be cheaper..

Building on me and mustang r50's reply; do you have a Ford dealer on your island? Maybe they can order it. If the total price is appreciably less than buying it from an aftermarket vendor and having it shipped, go that way.

Will asked them but I'm not sure it will be cheaper unfortunately, I've just bought a set of OEM spark plug last month at Ford dealer's shop, it costs me around 320usd for 8 spark plugs, yes 40usd each ! next time I'll ordered them via internet (AM, CJ or LMR). Price are really incredible in here ... just for comparison I bought my Mustang GT 2015 PP premium --> 80 000 + usd just imagine, but have no choice :-(
Anyway, big thanks to help me with those information guys !

Mine came in 2 boxes. I ordered from Levittown ford parts last month and it shipped locally from Ford Performance in Livonia, Detroit. I've attached couple of pictures with the exact dimensions and weight. One box contained the sway bars and the other had rest of the stuff. Hope this helps !
