Perfect. I’m going to buy that same resonator and have an exhaust shop fab it to my x pipe. I hate the rasp I have now and after the catless headers go on next week it will be out of hand.
I believe the Magnaflow 12468 and 12469 are the same resonator, with the 8 being 2.5 inch and the 9 being 3 inch. Either one will replace your current X-pipe.

You will be very happy !

That’s what I thought but if you look on the magnaflow website they are different. 8 is an X 9 is a Y. I don’t see any issue with flow either way. I ordered 12468 .

My cell quality doesn't give it justice, but here is a quick video.

I am a little sea sick now. LOL Seriously, Thanks for making the vid!

Very mellow, and almost stockish from inside the car. Usually rev videos on a phone are the worst. I am sure it sounds even better in the wild. I may just have to grap that 3" resonator you have.

Thanks Dominant1. Appreciate that. I bought a new 15 block from ford for 2 grand after they take my core. Of course my old block looks good. No scratches, dents or damage but I still didnt wanna take a chance on my old block. Might be something we didnt see so I paid 2000 grand for a piece of mind smh. Heads getting tested at the machine shop car should be put back together at the end of the week

Still trying to figure out if it was tune that fucked up my driverside cat or it just failed on its own. Shop swears up and down it wasn't the Lund tune. The passenger side cat looks brand new. Why would one side fail? Just doesn't make sense to me. What do you guys think? Tune or it just failed on own?

Both my cats were fubar its not the tune its the cats themselves. Lund has tuned tons of boosted cars with cats..American racing headers will tell you that their cats cant withstand extended periods with boost. Remember The arh exhaust system has a lifetime warranty on their products they’ll keep replacing them as they fail..but they wont cover a broken motor from it.

Kooks headers with green cats about 3 years old 10k miles. One of the cats here as you can see is separating and folding in a bit. Anyone have experience with this with Green cats? I called Kooks today and the warranty is 2 years, but they may warranty anyway when they look at the pics.

My observations with going to Kooks 1 7/8 first with green cats, then catless. My exhaust consists of 3" MBRP that has the mufflers replaces with SS oval 4x9 3" straight through off ebay, these have a very deep tone. Also put in the midsection 2 MBRP 16" resonators.

1. With my exhaust above and stock headers and cats the exhaust note was very deep 0 drone and not loud until you went into heavy throttle. Cold start was not bad at all.

2. Kooks headers with green cats and my same exhaust the setup cold start was aggressive and med to heaven throttle loud, but not bad at all. I could have lived with this. Idle warmed was not loud and still could be driven lightly without much extra aggressiveness. No Drone.

3. Kooks catless with 8" resonators in place of the cats, and same cat back. Very aggressive and loud cold start and very aggressive and loud medium to heavy throttle, too much for me. Warm idle is OK and driving can still be done lightly without much agressive sound. No drone.

I will be replacing the 16" MBRP resonators with a Borla touring resonator to try and control the volume.

Nice review, thanks for posting.

So you have 2 sets of resonators and its still too loud? If so there is no hope for me. I still haven't installed my cat delete....may have to switch it up.
