I didn't think the GT350 was "track-focused" in the way the Z28 and ZL1-1LE are, heck not even the GT350R is that 'focused'/compromised.
If you don't think that the R model was that track focused I suggest that you take a 2015 Z28 and a 2015 GT350R and see which vehicle was more focused at the track and it will be no contest in favor of the R model of course.

It was interesting how GM took some of their left over Z06 LS7 engines (427 CI)and can only produce 505 HP compared to the little 315 CI Ford engine that produces 21 more horsepower which obviously equates to much better performance times.

The Z28's zero to 60 and quarter mile times (12.7) were not very impressive but then again it weighed ~3850# and cost ~$76,000 therefore no wonder it was a complete flop even with all of the Camaro enthusiasts out there.

Agreed that the Camaro ZL1 is a terrific HP vehicle but much like the Dodge Demon is a one trick pony.

The ZL1 is a terrific track car but certainly is not a lot of fun as a daily driver much like the GT350R can be.

Most of the major car magazines that tested and drove both the ZL1 and the GT350R all agreed that the GT350R was a much better drivers car and had much more soul and spirit during their driving experience.

Over the last 4 model years the amount of awards that the GT350R has received compared to any Camaro model pretty much speaks for itself.

Bottom line is the Camaro has some cool models but nothing comes close to the FPC GT350R over the last 4 years and will go down as one of the coolest Mustangs of all time.

Seeing the different colours you guys are coming up with...makes me wonder why Ford doesn't do what VW does. Hell, makes me wonder why ALL manufacturers aren't doing it.

I was playing with a Golf R build last night and saw this:

https://www.vw.ca/en/models/golf-r.html

Go ahead and build this guy and then go to colours. Look at them all!

This is the kind of stuff I'd gladly toss money at.
very cool!! would be awesome to have that many colors to choose from and i agree worth the money

So one of the mules is in Scottsdale AZ..... it's almost into the 110F there now these days. Hot climate testing? I wonder how that's going?
