The delay is only for one year, the original date was 2019MY and MAYBE now it will be 2020MY. They wanted to leave the "halo spot" to the GT350 for a while.

I'm not sure about that. Both main mustang forums initially posted forum subheadings 2018MY GT500. Then it was moved to 2019, but I'd probably guess they are going to change that again here shortly, and if it isn't, there may just be a 2019 MY GT500, but a small run. Possibly a few hundred made between march and 2020 MY change over? Who knows but you can sure bet that would be a tough one to get, in fact even the first half of 2020MY will be tough to get one.

Someone said that the "Tooling Trial" units won't be made until the end of the year, so.... Maybe we will see something in New York, but not a GT500 "on the flesh" (Maybe another video)

Yup, the competition isn't sitting still while Ford Performance gets it's act together on the GT500.

Btw, did you guys see that NAIAS could be moved to october? Is it possible that the GT500 will be presented in NAIAS this year? (In case they decide to move it).

that publication is for ford dealers, it's a magazine they get about every 2 months.

The did the GT350 right, short production run in 15 for the anniversary model, then 16 and 17.

Should have had a short sun of the GT500 ready for 2017 MY (late), but instead they punted the 350 with an old body to fill an extra year (or two, maybe).

Aside from wishing the 350 got the digital dash, and some tech refreshes. I'm fine the how it is now. I just wish that FP would make some performance bits for it past a few R parts. Like an official package with resonator delete, headers, 90MM TB, and flash tune. They have sold headers in the past, and had a few TB options for the Mach1/Cobra/GT500/ect. Maybe a way to flash more aggressive magnaride tune. A version of the CobraJet IM designed specifically to fit under the GT350 hood would be nice. A cam option. It feels like they put it out there, then just listed a few R parts, a spring option, and a short throw.

They put all that money into the FPC R&D then so little into its own performance parts for it.

we'll have to hold off on the '19 350 as being a certain. the worker on the line hasn't confirmed that there would be and then now with the dealer publication saying '19 MY GT500. it could drive the '18 GT350 until fall, kinda like the '17s ran, Then 2019 MY may start in the late fall of 2018 and we could see a 2019 GT500 in late Feb early March start up production.
Not saying they couldn't run both together on the line but I don't think that will happen.

Isn't that just supposed to be Demons suspension bits? Not really anything amazing when I'm sure those parts or better can be bought from 3rd parties.

yeah, probably could be purchased but it's cool it's coming from the factory with a drag pack and upgraded to 725HP
