Any market for a stock GT exhaust or other reason to keep it whole, or should I just cut it up and scrap it? Not worried about ever returning the car to stock.

It's tough...you can try posting on Craigslist and local FB mustang pages in hopes someone's looking to go back to stock.

Does anyone know what material the OE exhaust is? Almost looks like 409SS.

If it's 409 I'll probably just cut it up and use it for TIG practice.

I put mine up on CL in Houston. You know, a metro area with over 6 million people. Absolutely zero interest. Even at just $100. ZERO!!!!!

Not worth anything... now

Car is too New. Older models maybe since people may be looking to replace there worn out exhaust. I see them posted online trying to sell frequently. Same with stock 18 wheels.

I'm keeping mine. If I ever want to install it back to stock that's how I'd sell it. Your aftermarket parts will always be worth a ton more when parting out a vehicle.

I still have mine, just because and I quote, in Quebec has a law... “Changing the muffler or exhaust system to make it noisier than the original
$100 to $200” :doh::crazy::mad:

Store it in your garage or backyard. Some day, someone will need the resonator.

In Manitoba: "Section 128 of the Highway Traffic Act states: every motor vehicle shall at all times be equipped with a muffler in good working order and in constant operation to prevent excessive or unusual noise, and no person shall use a muffler cut-out, straight exhaust, gutted muffler, Hollywood muffler, by-pass or similar device upon a motor vehicle on a highway. R.S.P.E.I. 1974, Cap. H-6, s.126. Altered pipes are subject to a Summary Offence Ticket of $ 275.00."

Da fook is a Hollywood muffler? Also, aren't most aftermarket mufflers DOT approved?

A lot of V6 guys pick up the stock GT exhaust since its a direct swap. I'd try and sell it before just trashing it. Post an add in the V6 section and on CL, might get lucky

My GT is covered in salt. I'll bet in 10 years I would gladly pay $$ for a replacement. Put it behind your shed where no one cares.

I gave mine away to a guy that was going to put them in his F-150. I didn't want to deal with it. If someone hadn't taken it, then it was going to the recycler.

Edit: I should mention I posted it on FB For Sale groups.
