My coworker has an s5, says its the biggest piece of shit. Me personally I would never buy any audi. Cept maybe an R8.

Btw, my brother is in the dealership software industry. Each mfg has an OP code for parts/diagnostics. The average op code for any MFG is around 30,000 codes, Toyota has the fewest. Audis is at least double that, they have the highest amount of codes (somewhere around 55k-60k). Which means more things to go wrong. I guess I'm a car snob because audi will always be last behind BMW and Mercedes.

We are replacing a BMW which is about to go past the ext. warranty and I am trying to decide myself between Mustang or BMW.

Just like the Audi the BMW is well put together but it looks like every other BMW and if you run into issues you better have an ext. warranty. A friend of mine just recently got rid of her R7 due to all of the electrical gremlins in it.

To me the Mustang has more heart to it and should be less expensive to maintain in the long run. It is hard to give up the refinement and better rear seats.

So I have a 18 mustang gt on order (10 speed) how ever I will be driving 40 miles each way to work now in Chicago . The gas truly isn't my concern. I truly only have one and that's I take my 80 pound shepherd to the dog park weekly. Can this be done in the mustang?

The only other car I am considering is a 16 Audi S3 which is a nice little 4 door and with a tune does 0-60 same as the mustang. Just doesn't have the top end .
Dear Moto, I was originally going to reply to your post with regard to fitting a GSD in a Mustang you were planning to purchase and noticed you had or previously had a 2015 Mustang GT? I thought it strange given the interior of the 15-17’s didn’t change with the 18MY. I remembered you posting a while back so I checked and back in Feb of last year you claimed to have sold the 15 GT and were currently driving a Charger Scat Pack but didn’t need the 4 doors and missed the Mustang and you ordered a 17 GB GT and now you have an 18 GT on order? You have 1000+ posts, owned a 15 GT, ordered a 17 & 18 GT’s and want member feedback on an Audi in comparison. Next you’ll be asking if you can fit an aquarium in the trunk of a GT. Wait, you already posted that question. Sorry for calling you out but I had 30 minutes to kill waiting for an appointment and read your previous posts. Btw, I like German Shepherds which is the only reason I read this post to begin with and if he’s not imaginary, he probably doesn’t like you.

What refinement is a Mustang lacking in comparison to a BMW?

This is a pointless thread. The Op is a troll. Read his previous posts.
Excuse me ? How about you go jump off the closer bridge . Yes I have had plenty of mustangs how ever my gsd has never had to be in them .

What’s wrong with wanting to know from people who have driven or owned an Audi?

If you don’t like my threads you can just not read them

To a point, I strongly agree with this. 3 series cars on a level that most people seem to buy them at, or at least what I see anyway, are pure shit especially on the interior.

Gotta spend $50K+ on a 3 series for it to feel actually premium. And that's nuts.

Which Mustang? The 15 GT, the 17 GT that you ordered last Feb or the 18 GT you already ordered in Jan and have a VIN for? When you’re in a hole, stop digging!

I looked at BMWs as well and the interiors all look the same and haven’t been majorly updated it seems

Not at all, more amused at this point. Your original post advised your only concern about getting the 18 Mustang was getting your dog to the park. You have owned plenty of Mustangs but the dog has never been in any of them? You have 1000+ posts of BS and they are all still here on the forum to read.

Weren't two of your Mustangs totaled? You probably should stick to the F-150 and put a crash bar on it, lol.

Personally speaking, I feel that the Audis and VWs just look too plain. Zero style at all. The Mustang is a much better looking car hands down. If you don't care what your car LOOKS like, maybe a VW or Audi.
