You have a 1LE convertible?
No. 1LE convertible doesn't exist. I have a 2SS convertible. It does not track like a 1LE, but it does track pretty darn good, even with me behind the wheel. :D

Understand, that your rational and points only seem rational for your mixed needs. Not to many people shop top-performance, then chose a convertible...

The Mustang cost more, because it is a more sophisticated design and upscale. The Camaro is the little brother trying to brute about.
So, following that logic, why was the '17 GT Vert PP $7k LESS than my car? Because it was more upscale? Nope.

So in 2015 was the 50th anniversary of the GT350, yet how many years were they built? They just announced the 50th of the Bullet, yet how many years did they build them? Look up what anniversary means will help you answer your question.:headbonk:
Good point. I'm gonna have to tell my wife we can't celebrate our 25th wedding ANNIVERSARY this year because there were 23 years in between where we didn't have a wedding.

Lol that still doesn’t answer what I asked. There is no way the Camaro should have such low numbers if the car is that good. Unless C6G is wrong? Which is it?
My opinion GM didn't change the style enough. They made it look too much like a 5th gen and not enough 5th gen owners are willing to upgrade to a 6th gen (cars look very similar) and many non-Camaro owners like myself are tunrned off by the design language. There are a lot more compromises to buy a Camaro vs a Mustang or Challenger.

I don't buy that price is keeping buyers away. Prices on all cars is up and dealers don't seem to have a problem selling trucks or SUVs that cost as much or more than a Camaro.

It's just a more polarizing design than a Mustang and lacks the practicality of the Challenger.

I like the way the 2018 2SS drove more than the PP1 Mustang I drove, but the Mustang trumps it everywhere else. And the Mustang performance in the 2018 is no slouch they have narrowed the gap against the SS. For a mostly daily driver the Mustang is the better car.

Well the Camaro is about to get a refresh. New front bumper. Possible new rear fascia. The look will change. And guess what? It still won’t sell! The car is an ergonomic nightmare. As an ex 5th gen Camaro owner. The Camaro flat out sucks to sit inside! When I mentioned this as a member of Camaro5. I was shouted down by the usual suspects. GM listened to camaro5 members and gave them exactly what they wanted. I bet GM won’t make that mistake again.

GM could improve some ergonomics with the 2019 refresh. A lot of owners over on camaro6g admit the interior storage is terrible, so perhaps GM has been listening and will redesign the dreadful center console storage and add some pockets in the doors. I doubt the refresh can address the visibility issues though...

Interior storage in either of these cars hasn't been anything to write home about.

They never made a 50th Anniversary Edition of the GT350 though.

They commented on it, but never made a tribute package for it.

Poor analogy.
If you were divorced for a number of years and just got remarried I would mock you for celebrating an "anniversary".

If the 2019 camaro refresh bombs and I bet it will there won't be a 7gen camaro.

Not really.

It will take a platform change (Alpha2 or whatever) to improve the cars ergonomics and storage space. A big part of it will be lowering the beltline on the cars from the insanely high place it's at now to a more comfortable position. That'll improve sightlines all around as well.

Have you spent a lot of time in the S550? It has plenty of storage, IMO. Even more than my S197 had.
