Swap is complete, the unit I got was from a 2016 GT Premium. Thanks for the recommendation to the parts barn, great price and delivery. Installed the GPS Antenna from Amazon and removed the GPSM module. Since the cars were similar, there was nothing left to program. Everything works great, still waiting from my USB hub and wiring parts for them, so I have no CarPlay, but I had to remove the old hub as it caused an error due to the wrong hub being present. Updated to the leaked version of 3.0 and its amazing. Simple, clean and spot on. Next is to do my wifes 2015 Edge, the unit shipped for that task was wrong, had EU maps. Thanks to you all for the help and support.

That reverse camera thing is new to me... maybe you need a complete as-built flash from a Mustang similar to yours to work from? Makes me wonder if there are differences between auto/manual, or the Mustang and other models as far as how that's handled.

Turned out to be a setting in the main settings menie. However if you dig into the known as built code there are to digits relating to manual and auto trans.

I guess when you run your mouth as much as you do it's easy to forget the shit you talk... I'd love to post some of it here but the mods cleaned most of it up.

I did the swap today. SYNC 3 worked fine, but somehow my front panel won't work. So is my A/C. After trying stuff in FORScan, my dome light is now blinking. Could anybody save me from all this? I rechecked all my wirings, so that shouldn't be a problem.

BTW, diagnostics says fcim is not detected. The front panel blinks sometimes, but that's it.

To supplement, the ms can and the hs can work perfectly. Backup camera works perfectly. This should exclude any wiring faults. Things not working are:

steering wheel control
the whole front panel
Dome lights flashing all the time.

My APIM comes from a Focus RS, so does that matter? I'm taking the car to the dealer probably if I'm outta ideas.

Did you flash ALL of the data from a 16-17 Mustang to the APIM? Did you double check your wiring, making sure none of the CAN lines is backwards?

I tried flashing a premium as-built to the APIM. No good, so I restored to what I had in the first place. Yes, I have ms can and hs can. :cheers:

I left the center console wirings unchanged, which is as it should right?
