Can be a double edge sword. I helped an employee shop for a Mustang in '89. He was not into car care. I don't think he ever washed it. The dealer actually removed their decal and license frame on one of his warranty visits. LoLYep, ThanksI thought it was funny when I ordered the car I got in writing I wanted no dealer stickers anywhere on the car. Figures they still put the dealer frame on though lol.
Finally ripped out that stupid sound tube and installed the Mishimoto inlet tube. Yes, I need to clean my engine bay.

Now to go exhaust or tune next... hmm...
The sound tube is a convoluted device to pump intake sounds into the cockpit. Basically a tube with baffles, etc. between the intake and the firewall on the driver's side.what is the sound tube...and what does the inlet tube do?
I know it's a dumb question, but why would you want to pump sound INTO the cockpit. You would think you'd want it as quiet as possible...at least to listen to your stereo! The sound tube is a convoluted device to pump intake sounds into the cockpit. The intake tube he's talking about replaces the tube between the factory air filter and the intake manifold.
'cause muscle car :lol:I know it's a dumb question, but why would you want to pump sound INTO the cockpit. You would think you'd want it as quiet as possible...at least to listen to your stereo!
What is this warranty you speak of?I got my puddle lamp replaced under warranty. This proves one thing... I still have a warranty..;-)
I know... Right? What is this warranty you speak of?![]()
In the case of the ecoboost, doesn't ford pump in extra sound through the speakers? :shrug:I know it's a dumb question, but why would you want to pump sound INTO the cockpit. You would think you'd want it as quiet as possible...at least to listen to your stereo!
I guess that's why removing it is such a popular mod. I think that was the first thing I did.I know it's a dumb question, but why would you want to pump sound INTO the cockpit. You would think you'd want it as quiet as possible...at least to listen to your stereo!
