Yep, Thanks I thought it was funny when I ordered the car I got in writing I wanted no dealer stickers anywhere on the car. Figures they still put the dealer frame on though lol.

Can be a double edge sword. I helped an employee shop for a Mustang in '89. He was not into car care. I don't think he ever washed it. The dealer actually removed their decal and license frame on one of his warranty visits. LoL

Finally ripped out that stupid sound tube and installed the [MENTION=9961]Mishimoto[/MENTION] inlet tube. Yes, I need to clean my engine bay.

Now to go exhaust or tune next... hmm...

The sound tube is a convoluted device to pump intake sounds into the cockpit. Basically a tube with baffles, etc. between the intake and the firewall on the driver's side.

The intake tube he's talking about replaces the tube between the factory air filter and the intake manifold.

I know it's a dumb question, but why would you want to pump sound INTO the cockpit. You would think you'd want it as quiet as possible...at least to listen to your stereo!

Put my legato axle-backs on last night, there's a fair bit of drone since I'm running an H-Pipe but god does it sound mean. Sound tube delete going in today or tomorrow to see if it clears up some drone

In the case of the ecoboost, doesn't ford pump in extra sound through the speakers? :shrug:

Ordered a custom tune and JLT direct from VMP Monday morning. I'm local so I said I'd pick up the tuner and JLT. Got an email right away saying 5-10 days for custom tune. 4pm the same day got another email "your order is ready for pickup AND we loaded the tunes for you". Great people, great service. The rest of my N2O build will definitely be through VMP.

FYI....the tune is awesome....no revisions needed......untill I mount a bottle.

I guess that's why removing it is such a popular mod. I think that was the first thing I did.

I'll sell you mine if you want to have a backup in case yours breaks ;)
