Umm.....................no. He'll be saying "oh this is a tuned S550 GT, gotcha."

The ZL1 is INSANELY fast.
For the fun factor my man  The GT is a much better/funner car OVERALL.

Keep the camaro 110% it's already faster stock than the mustang is and after you mod the mustang to get it as fast as the camaro you will have spent some cash what's the point in that and coming from owning a camaro to now owning a 2017 mustang as much as I love my mustang which I do I still prefer the camaro

Your gonna loose money anyway. Get a 2018 with all the upgrades. It's got more power then the 2015

Weird... Come to a Mustang forum to ask for reassurance about the Mustang and they are trying to talk you into keeping a Camaro. WTF?

Personally, I would go with a 2017 Mustang GT with the Performance Pack.
This forum is pretty much run by camaro fan boys any way didn't you know that :ninja:

LOL....this Mustang v Camaro stuff cracks me up. I suggest swapping keys for '15/'16 Z/28....they're so superior at the track that you can find them all over Autotrader at $20K - $30K off MSRP with low, low miles.....

I had a 10 2ss/rs. I traded it for a truck. Then I wanted to trade the truck for another Camaro. Too expensive. I could buy a comparably optioned Mustang for $10k+ less, and I did. Even money, I would have bought another Camaro. Although, I really enjoy driving the S550. My old '10...

What's up guys, I'm new here. I currently own a 03 terminator mustang, and a 2017 camaro SS. I went with the camaro, bc at first the new body style of the mustang rubbed me wrong but it has really grown on me lately. I'm thinking about trading my 17 SS In for this 2015 GT in competition orange, with black stripes, my mustang love is burning again. I'm here though to ask what are common issues with the 2015s? Also what can you all tell me to convince me to trade for it? I'm not super educated with the newer models, but the fact the 5.0 is much cheaper and easier to mod and have big gains from than the 6.2 is a huge factor. Basically just try and convince me to trade! I'm leaning towards doing it already just need reassurance
One of the very first GTPP owners here since Sep 2014. I m actually selling my car soon and looking to get a slightly used C7 vette in the future. My advice is stay away from a 2015 or even 2016 mustangs. Quality issues are pretty bad. Not mechanical but panel miss alignments, rattles, and Sync might drive you nuts. I m guessing those are fixed for the 2017+ models with the help of available tsb's. My advice is if you can, buy a 2017 mustang, C6 ZO6 vette or a C7 Vette.

A late model C6 is the way to go. Smaller and lighter and cheap, like around 32 to 38k for a 2011 to 2013 low mile used coup or GS. A few mods and you are close to 470hp. The C7 scares me with all the trouble the A8 TRANS has so i went with a 2013 C6. Just got rid the run flats friday and what a diff the Pilot 4S makes. Cars gets and grips now instead of sliding on ice with the runflats.

My 2015 GT would pull strong up high, but the LS3 is just so much stronger down low. Still can't beat the GT for the bang for the buck. New C7 is around 60 to 80k.

Well yeah on paper the new C7's are not cheap but a slightly used ones are around 45 grand. Stick shift 7 speed very good looking lightweight sports car. FBO and short shifter on those must feel amazing! I would like to get black on black with ZO6 spoiler and red painted brake calibers:love:

A lightly used C6 could be a decent performance bargain. I personally can't get past how ugly the front end of that car is. The headlight covers look cheap and hideous to me. I couldn't make myself spend all that money and then be driving around in that thing.

I love the look. Better than the C5 or 4.
Not cheap to replace the covers for sure.
