So my newly installed Pypes headers have a rattling sound and i think i found the source. Anyone here install a set of pypes? Im pretty sure some members mentioned relocating the AC line. Is this what you were talking about? Its a little bolt sticking out thats sitting on my headers.
The pictures show the outside passenger side of the headers.
Thanks for reading! i would really appreciate some help :)

yes, if you have anything touching you want to move it

Passenger side O2 sensor didnt clear the k brace. Had to buy an L shaped O2 extender to make it clear but it is still pretty tight. That bolt pictured has to be relocated somehow. That was my experience with my pypes so far. Need to take it in again...

Also, they hang very low. Not very happy with them but i already spent $500 for installation.

For the front O2? Has the sensor been pulled out of the exhaust stream?

there are no installation issues with the pypes and no fitment issues, this is one of the easiest sets of headers to put on

WITH ALL HEADERS, YOU WANT TO MOVE THE AC BOLT. ALL HEADERS 300 TO 1500 DOLLARS. DOESN'T MATTER.

I hate threads like these, because 3 years for now, i'll get people asking me about pypes issues.

we've literally sold 100s of these for these cars, and installed 20 sets locally, and they are the easiest to go on out of any brand that we sell

EDIT: LOL, just checked my pm's and the messages are already starting about fitment issues. Already 3 messages

beefcake sorry you dont like "threads like this" but i only made this thread because i needed to confirm that was the bolt holding the AC line.
My fitment was poor. There are places on BOTH driver and passenger sides that are within millimeters of touching something. So shifting the engine to either side wont help at all. We discovered 3 possible spots where the headers might make contact and rattle but im praying that the AC bolt fixes it.
This is the driver side header:

Passenger side almost hitting:

Ground clearance is not good either (not a good pic):

My headers are the lowest part of my car right now and there is NO way of fixing that.

i get what your saying, my point is, all the headers we recommend moving the a/c bolt. that doesn't mean that the headers are a bad fitment though.

we have had 0 issue with contact, or 0 issue with false knock with these headers

we recently did a whipple that made 759 rwhp with the headers on.

my point is the title "fitment issues", there are no fitment issues so the title is misleading. thats what i mean by "threads like this" the headers fit fine, and don't touch the body or the engine and will give no false knock. sorry if that came off wrong

your are adding a full long tube header into a car that was not designed, they are all going to have tight fitment. every brand

I literally just installed a set of these last week on my car, with no clearance problems whatsoever. Better fitment than the Stainless Power headers that's for sure.

I will take some pictures when I get home today. My headers don't hang down like that at all. Do you have a part number for the ones you have installed?

GTBOB could you please take a pic of how they hang? beefcake Is it possible pypes could have sent the wrong part? I dont see how mine could hang so low while others dont?
