The look of our SC is different for sure. This inverted design is beneficial when fitting a supercharger under the stock hood of cars with low clearance such as Corvettes, Camaros (there's your GM reference) and possibly the 2018 Mustang GT as it may have less clearance due to the lower hood. The 2018 Mustang may also have less valley clearance from the new DI injectors and lines under there. Having the intercooler up top rather then low in the valley may work out in that application.

The DP-3C intercooler (Dual Pass Three Core) works very well compared to our older design on the 11-14 Coyote Kits.

The air from the rotors gets forced up through the middle of the intercooler core then back down the sides into the runners to the heads. There are two dividers on the underside of the core so the two air paths remain separated. We played with different size covers that sit over the intercooler core and found no advantage to a larger gap between the core and the lid.

have you guys tested IATs lb for lb with competitor kits?

We have not done a direct comparison like this to our competitors. This is a difficult test to run due to some key variances between kits.

One of these variances is IAT sensor location. We place our IAT sensor in the rear most manifold runner closes to the compressor outlet. The rear runners will naturally be the hottest (15-20°F hotter). The father you get from the blower outlet, the cooler the air charge to the runners. We put the sensor in the rear so it samples the worst case scenario. The PCM will start to retard timing based on the hottest of the cylinders but also shows up on data logs as having higher IATs...

Hard to see from the pictures, will this fit under a strut tower brace that the performance package comes with? I'm guessing no, but thought I'd ask anyway.

I think the better comparison would be timing tables compared to knock tables at the same PSI. Then you'll know if one kit is causing more heat retention than another.

I think the request wasn't to compare logs from the PCM but rather a bench flow test of the blower versus a bench flow test of another TVS competitor. Install the same size throttle body, same size pulley, setup the intercooler system as it would be on the car, and spin that F'r up and measure CFM and inlet/outlet temps at the same location.

I don't like 40yr olds bouncing around and waving their arms like Justin Bieber....
THIS. I was thinking the same thing before I even read the replies. Some one needs to dub over that video with some dope beats and rhymes...

yeah. probably. yeah.

im just wondering if their design is better or worse than the typical blower on top, heat exchanger on bottom system.

Doesn't it bother anyone else when people say Eldebrock instead of Edelbrock?

Normally it's white trash Chevy guys talking about their Elduhbrock Performer intake and 750 has their 350 2-bolt making 600 to the wheels. Lol.

I am VERY interested in the new kit with the bigger TVS. Give us more info!!!!!
