HISSMAN did you paint the rear calipers too? Also, is that the regular yellow g2 sells or some custom one?
Yes, I also painted the rears. They turned out better than expected as well. I just ordered the regular yellow. I actually ordered it through amazon.

Some do. I didn't. I figured that if it was required, then it would come with it or "highly recommend it".

Thanks!! :headbang:

From a design perspective definitely red, there are already some red on the car on the tail lights and rear corner markers. Usually with colors you want to go with the rule of three, three items of the same color should be visible to help it be cohesive. Unless you want to platidip your 5.0 emblems yellow as well and even then red is just more of a classic combination here

^^ thx for your input. I have a red coyote badge too so i was thinking red would look better too but red is too common...

Check this out to see what i mean

Here is your mustang (similar) with yellow brakes

Now check this ferrari out, forget about the fact that its a ferrari, see how it looks a bit more cohesive since it pulls the yellow in from the ferrari badge?

Good luck with your decision!

Think this is a good example how close most people will get. Waited 24 hours after painting to put the wheels back on. I'm pretty happy with the results. Please excuse my reflection in the dirty car.

Looks good, Jeff. That G2 is good stuff. Once it sets up, it seems really tough and I'm sure it'll hold up well. Here's a close up pic of mine taken shortly after I painted them.

Thanks, Jeff. Yes, it's the G2 ruby red. Not quite a perfect match but it's probably b/c the G2 is an epoxy paint and it's close enough.
