That being said, I have to say Borla has the absolute best customer service of any aftermarket company I've every dealt with. The system wasn't for me, and they stepped up and took care of everything. Absolutely nothing bad to say about the Borla staff.
Glad to see them step up. As always david borla is a class act.

I think I know which direction you're going though!

I have a strong feeling you'll be very happy. You may even decide to throw the H-pipe in.

And wow that's a great deal...

bodam - that's exactly what I am experiencing from my FRPP Touring Cat-Back exhaust, except my drone seems to go away after 2500 RPM, but it is clearly there between 2000 - 2500 RPMs. I've been driving quickly through that RPM range or avoiding it as much as I can. It is puzzling though, there are several on the Mustang6G site that say their Borla/FRPP systems don't have any drone... I've been considering the AWE Touring system but I haven't heard one in person - which I would do before ordering it... Thanks much for your comments!

"Drone" is very subjective, as is tone. I'm super picky about my exhaust. I include resonance as drone, where others will just say that that's just the exhaust note. I say BS. If the exhaust note is unpleasant to experience, it's drone to me.

I know the technical sound guys will argue, but I don't care. Lol

At the end of the day, you have to find what YOU like. It doesn't matter whether you call it drone, resonance, exhaust note, whatever, if it is unpleasant to you, you won't enjoy the car.

So I installed the Corsa touring axle back tonight. Since I had already had a resonator delete installed, my pipes were already cut. And since I had the Borla installed as an axle back, my pipes were cut there as well. So installling this axle back was interesting, since the joint is in a different place than most axle backs. But cutting it made a type of swivel joint for more articulation if you will.

The drivers side bolts right up. Little adjusting and it's in place. The passenger side wants to twist towards the outside of the car, not lining up the same as the drivers side. Takes some patience to get both sides equal.

Start it up, and it's very similar to the Borla tone. Just more "refined"? Smoother I guess. The Borla has a great tone, don't get me wrong, but it's more "muscle", some gurgle to it.

The Corsa seems smoother. And believe it or not, it's deeper than the Borla. It is quieter in the cab which is what I wanted. I haven't driven it more then a few miles, and haven't been on the highway cruising yet. I'll update tomorrow after my hell commute lol.

And that's the best part, the interior volume is such that you could and it will only be loud when you want it to be.

I think it's loud enough for me but it's nice to have the option. And honestly I'm really intrigued by knowing what it sounds like now lol

But I'll drive it for a couple of weeks first

If you decide you like the volume where it is, here's a great option if you want better [cross]flow and tone than the stock resonator, without going really much louder. I love mine*:

*technically I have this...the 11386 muffler which is part of this, but welded in, not cut/clamp.
