my car on 10psi (3.75 pulley) full exhaust and E85 went 10.83@135 in 2299 DA. His tunes are spot on.

This is reason enough for me to hesitate....have heard from one other person a similar story
I have had the opposite experience...they're easily accessible by email and Facebook. And Johnny Nardi(spelling) is on the board to help also...

This is my first experience with remote tuning and its been really easy and i love it so far. If i am able to go boost one day, i was told the fee for the next tune, since I'm NA now, is $350. The nguage is a pretty sweet little device

I wouldn't call there calibrations "conservative" at all, HOWEVER I have noticed on my car (its an extremely early kit/tune from 8/15) they're very protective of the engine especially being a production style tune.

All stock motor, I'd go Whipple tune. I don't have my kit yet but I just chose the Whipple tune over a PBD tune and I have the MMR Billet gears/cooling mod. When you crave more boost and are ready to do the billet stuff, then go Palm Beach. That's what I plan to do.

Ive had lund when I had full bolts and I loved it. Now I have whipple cal with stage 2 and catless headers and the new revision is definitely spot on. Gonna try to stick to the "emissions tune" =) as long as I can.

Thanks a lot guys, been very helpful. Cant say I am swayed either direction but all that tells me is I probably cannot go wrong with any of the choices.

I reached out to Whipple to ask if I could purchase the flash tool and their tune only for a kit that started its life as a PB Dyno tuned setup, I will post up what they say.

I have had big time issues with the auto trans on the Whipple tune. Your 6 speed so it won't matter. What that shows me is that the Whipple tune is not perfect for EVERY car out there. My car makes power for sure as it pulls 130+ in the 1/4 but it doesn't shift well at all. I'll be going PBD tune very soon.

My car on the whipple tune, 3.75 pulley, Ms109 fuel, everything else stock 6spd manual including stock tires went 11.1 @ 135 in similar air. Fwiw.

Shop is doing it today with the new RST clutch/flywheel install. Very easy to get to when doing the clutch. This mod isn't for everyone. Some don't see the value in it.

Whipples tune is going to be a great tune for someone that is keeping the vehicle basically stock, as well as anyone trying to keep the car CARB Legal. The tune has great drivability as well! The Lund tune will for sure will be more aggressive and pick up all the left power the Whipple tune is lacking.

Basically stock as in no billet gears?

Not trying to open up a can here. I just paused yet again in a Whipple purchase as I really don't want my motor opened up.

Some people will say you should do OPG and CG regardless. I did regardless of the tune just for peace of mind. Most people don't consider pulling the timing cover as "opening the motor" though. You could run enough boost on any FI kit including the Whipple to blow you motor regardless of the tune. Some guys have run the Whipple tune to low 10s so it's more than enough for most people. The ONLY reason I'm going custom tune now after using the Whipple tune is the car shifts horribly. It makes power though as says my 136mph time slip. If you have a manual, I think you'll be just fine with the Whipple tune.
