I mounted quickly my tablet in the car tonight. and I tested my prototype. So far Android Auto is running good but I have some trouble with my GPS antenna... You can see I ran Waze and Google Maps but Waze was kinda late on the position lock... Anyways, Check out the video! I am confident that can be done to the Tesla unit somehow.
PS: Sorry for the quality it's kinda blurry and shaky. It's not easy to take a video when the car is moving.
