Don't confuse this "True Base Shelby" with the other Shelby GT350's. This is the Base car with LITTLE TO NO ELECTRONIC CONTROL GIZMO OVER RIDES that the other cars have. No limiting factors on suspension nor engine. Parameter controls are different on "True Base" than the other GT350's. This car far outperformed Ford's flagship "R" in every way and all that the "True Base" car was discontinued in 2016 and yet only less than 300 total were made in ALL colors while less than 50 in Black were made.

Yes, you can still get a Base 900A with no option packages. For 17 The GT350 comes Base, Electronics package, or Convenience package. Only the Base comes without NAV. It may be rare because people like at least some options but that does not mean it's worth more. If anything it's worth less as it does not have the Track Pack that was available in 2016 so this car basically useless for the track.

That is a 50-53K car, at best.

I don't mind it at all but yes at first it bugged me. But now using it I understand that there truly is a balance with the car being a road AND track toy. It's not too much and not too little. Also, backup camera provisioning.

I'll have a 2500HP TT Huracan before that proof comes out of the woodwork...on my salary that cannot afford a 2500HP TT Huracan.

You are looking in the wrong places. There are a lot of GT350's now selling for MSRP or below. Try an East Coast dealer. Took 2 seconds to find the below. He wants a little more than MSRP but I'll bet you can pay MSRP if you call.
