I just found the Walker Dynomax Ultra Flo direct fit exhaust system at Summit and then for cheaper at Rockauto. Axleback is $458, or Catback for $692. Or you can get just the two mufflers for $336 and get clamps & tips separately. Include a 5% off coupon, get tips & clamps at Autozone/Advance/muffler shop, and that is one dirt cheap axleback setup.
Anyone have it already? I'd love to hear sound clips. I can't find anything about it online. I haven't done an exhaust yet because I want dual mode, but for that cheap, it might be worth seeing how it is.

Definitely priced on the lower end. It is hard finding any pictures of the actual product though

Summit has them. Parts 52558 & 52559. Cut and clamp just before the last 90 degree bend.

If you are shopping for walker products already this early into the S550's life, you can't afford this car.

You're basically asking if anyone else has taken an aluminized muffler for a 30 year old K1500 chevy, and clamped it onto their new mustang. Walker products have always been, and always will be, pure garbage.

Interested in hearing a sound clip of the axleback. I've used Dynomax mufflers in the past and they sound great!

Ouch, I know quite a few racers who run the dynomax Ultra-flows. They have one of the highest cfm ratings. Actually very close to no muffler at all. They are also one of the quietest performance mufflers out there. I run these on my 76 Trans Am because of the flow and having a tough time fitting a large case muffler under an F-body to make it quiet. Well, as quiet as 474 cubes and 600+hp will get.

I hate to sound like a broken record across this forum but... SOLO PERFORMANCE. Even with the price increase, they are the best option, IMHO. No snapping rasp sounds but instead a deeper refined sound. I LOVE the sound, I'm responsible for many people buying them after hearing mine, so others love it, too. <$1,000. Stop trying to piece together the cheapest options. Can't tell you how many times someone pieces together a system and hates it.

I am tempted to pull the trigger on the Solo AB Mach kit with black tips! :frusty:

I hate comments like this. He wasn't asking for your opinion on the quality of Walker products. What the hell do you care what he does to his car? And how do you know what he can afford? Are you making his payments?

If you don't have any experience with what he is asking about, why are you even responding? You're being no help. Hey, hey guys, I can't help, but I want my voice heard. And in your signature, why do you list out every non-Mustang car you own? . This is a Mustang forum, nobody cares you own a slow ass Marauder or an ugly ass BMW with Bilstein shocks. I don't list my neighbor's car or what brand lawn mower I own.

Narcissistic prick...

That is louder than I'd think, I wonder if it has a x-pipe or h-pipe too? If that's the factory resonator... too loud for me.

And yes, I did not come here for financial advice. With horsepower per dollar as your metric, Mustang is the best value on the new car market. Should we have the 87 vs 93 octane debate here too? :headbonk: J/K, please don't.

There is nothing wrong with walker products, if anything exhaust products as a whole are incredibly overpriced. The price of an axle back is off the charts.

I have a friend with a green riding mower (don't know the brand, John Deere maybe? Let's say John Deere)... I have a friend with a John Deere riding mower and it has a rabbit for it's top speed. So I think that's valid here. Maybe that helps OP???:shrug::headbonk::headbonk:
