Hello guys. Right now I'm seeing 12lbs of boost with my Paxton 3.6 91oct. I still have the stock catted manifold. I feel like 12lbs is a bit too much what you guys think? I'm thinking on getting a MAK cat delete will it bring my peak boost down?

Can't have too much boost just not enough motor. :headbang:

I'm at 12lbs on my 3.6 pulley on 93 but with catted long tubes getting ready take the cats off.

I personally don't want to run more than 11psi on 93oct (though I think timing has more of an impact with regard to fuel quality). I know some are running quite a bit more, but that is my comfort level. Considering I made nearly 700whp, seems like plenty for the street.

What kind of power is 12psi good for on 93? Can't be anymore than 700

What are you using for a boost gauge, there is a big variance in mechanical gauges, and the stock gauge or Eco Boost swap gauge is not accurate.

Yeah I'll be ok with 11lbs. I plan on doing torque booster to have the power come on sooner. I see 18 degrees of timing on my ngauge.

I see 18 degrees using 93,but also depends on how your car is tuned.Looking at knock and load at wot will give u a good idea if the 91 oct is acceptable for the timing your turner has set.

Why are you running so much boost instead of running more timing and lower boost? Did I see you only made 605whp on E85 and 16psi?

I would check your boost plus against a mechanical gauge. Mine was 2 to 3 psi off actual boost pressure. I ended up letting the boost + go
