Found this post by coincidence in the GT350 section. (thanks TonyJ5150)

Spoke with them this week at PRI.
The 4.11 is to be out by the end of this year! It is in their part book 07-888411-15 or 07-888411-15ISF in their Lightning Isotropic Superfinish.
Bearing Kit US2013IRSC#2
And their brochure confirms!

So the question now, is who is gonna be the crazy looney to be the EBGP (Ecoboost Ginuea Pig) for this adventure? :p

These gear mods only affect 1st gear correct?

No, it'll affect all of them. The rear axle gear multiplies the ratio of whatever gear you're in before it reaches the drive wheels so all six will be affected equally (someone correct me if I'm wrong please)

You got it right, it will affect all gears ratios from MT/AT or CVT :)

4.11 would be amazing for the GT350.

Why? Because of the the trans gear ratios that different from the GT, or just the final ratio?

The trans ratios. First gear tops out at 55 with the 3.73's. You have such a large powerband, so the shorter gears would really liven it up.

according to this posting, 3.55->4.11 gears would result in 15% more torque to the wheels. Does that sound right? I want more tire spin off the stop lights.

http://www.wallaceracing.com/reargear.htm
Rear End Gear Selection

3.55->4.1 ~ 15%
360 lb ft * 15% = 414 lb ft
You will get that but at the expense of 15% reduction in max speed in each gear. There is no free lunch, There is a balance between and the MT82 (especially the non GT version) and the 6 speed auto both have pretty aggressive transmission gearing compared to most transmissions.

GT350 with 3.73s is about the same overall gearing as the GT with MT82 and 3.31s so yes. 8300 RPMs make short gears just fine. You could go 4.30 in that car and be just fine with the speed in each gear.

With regards to the 4.30's, I ran those in my 1996 DOHC Cobra - and I'll tell you all, that gear set is FUN! The 96-98 Cobras had 3.08's as the factory rear gear - throw 4.30's in and it was night and day difference, plus the car no longer lugged in 5th when trying to do lower speed limits (such as 45mph) and gas mileage actually improved.

The DOHC (of then) was capable of winding out to 7,500rpm easily and that was still with a 5psd transmission.

I have no doubt that the modern day S550 - Shelby or GT would benefit from 4.30's as well, that gear set would surely wake up the car. However, usually when you add awee adder (turbo or supercharger) usually folks won't run such gearing.

Having driven it with the 3.73's, it would be an absolute riot with 4.11 gears!

I have a 2017 mustang ecoboost with the upgraded NX2 turbo which kicks in at 3500 rpms... I just put in the 4.11 gears and it has woke!!! I am so glad I made the change from 3.55 to 4.11!!! When and where am I going to be going 120mph!?! I don't need that kind of trouble... I love quick off the line and pull fast all the way through to 100 on the highway and then shut it down to speed limit!!! I am loving the torque and the performance!!!
