Tony- any update on your tranny cooler set up? how much did it end up costing for the parts? is the pump loud? so many questions... :frusty:
Shop worked on a few other projects last week..(PRI).
The trans cooler is all finished, I'm told its very quiet and the thermos switch works great...I haven't heard it in person.....
We are putting on a diff cooler at the same time, and are working on wiring in the factory style pump and using the thermos switch on it as well...
They should be back on it this week.
Don't know parts or prices till I get the bill...

Did my DIY kit for the trans kit for about $1200. My pump is rather loud, but I only run it on the track and you can not hear it.

That's pretty pricey. Which pump, cooler, fluid, and lines did you use?

in about a week everyone will be on holidays.
Car was build in 2015, and we won't see a solution from OEM until 2017, totally not acceptable.

I just got an email from Isaac yesterday saying they were still finalizing some of the build materials. No ETA just a hold on.

Jim and I discussed the pump electrical load. Be sure you use an adequate circuit or just run a sufficient fused tap off the battery.

Jim and I discussed his setup. He knows what he's talking about, pay attention.

When you guys talk about "limp mode" with the Tech Pack, is everyone getting the same issue of unable to rev past 5500 rpm?

Generally speaking, isn't limp mode usually a lot more restrictive like can't rev over 1000 rpm. This just sounds like "reduced engine power."

My cars computer shut down the only time It happened to me. Reverse camera wouldn't turn on, running lights wouldn't turn off, Touch screen was in-op. 10 minutes sitting, fired her back up and everything went normal. Couldn't tell you if it was because of limp mode or just a weird glitch.

Reduced power here at my last track event. Car limits around 5k as you said and the power goes soft. Not a dangerous reduced power level unlike what others have reported. The Forscan mod that allows you to see the tranny temp was a BIG help as I knew when to expect it.

My transmission oil temperature was 100 degrees F after a 20 mile drive into work this morning. Single digits ambient temperature. I wonder what temperature a track pack transmission would be in these conditions?

edit: I should post that I did get another email from Ford Performance. Michael said that he doesn't expect the 16th to be an issue for parts but they are still working through releasing the bill of materials onto the web. That way people will know what is contained in the kit.

I think this means the parts might not be available in a couple days but possibly the BOMs will be on the web?
