When to expect order placed Jan 2016?

Mine took 3 weeks to get to docks then a further 4 weeks to get loaded onto ship.:tsk:

It doesn't worry me anymore as I know it is on its way. Just gotta keep driving the orange one in my profile pic until the new one arrives - I love my toys even if I am 60 lol - keeps me feeling young.

Ok, I got my build date, next Thursday the 27th October.

Ordered 30th Jan 2016, nsc early July, I think the 6th or 7th, vin no. early October. Might get here before xmas with a bit of luck. Starting to get a bit pumped.

I ordered on the 18th FEB, was built on the 5th OCT and am told the ETA will be mid December if I am lucky.

The inconsistancy by Ford with times is frustrating. I ordered 14 May this year and still no NSC.

My Ford dealer has been great, a larger dealer here in Melbourne, no false hope and transparent with the whole process. Out of his hands but when some have a vin within 6 months and others don't even have a NSC makes you wonder how Ford in the US work out the orders.

I am right on 6 months now (no NSC). Contacted Ford via Facebook yesterday to see if they could help, and they said I shouldn't expect it until early next year!!

Clearly not what's happening in reality... will add it to the long list of inconsistencies and frustrations, and continue my 'patient' wait :frusty:

Mine took 14 mths just to build..
I think that's close to average....
I think its a FoA and Dealer issue.... something about Quotas.
If they were fully transparent and explained it all logically, I'm sure we would still grumble, but be more accepting of the limitations (and anomalies like 9 months to build !) in the process.

Every day for the past week I have been checking the etis website to see if I have a build date allocated yet. Imagine my surprise when I checked again this morning to find I have been allocated yesterday as a build date.

I checked cotus, and sure enough, my car is now "in transit". I guess I wait another couple of weeks and then I can start checking to see if I've been loaded onto a ship.

That can take up to 3 weeks, don't get too excited I hope it's as early as possible. It's the most painful part I reckon!

Mine was built on the 22nd September and no ship allocated but I'm pretty happy with how it has ben going so far seeing it was built a month earlier than I was told and my dealer emailed me last week and said I will get it in December.

Not sure but I get a feeling some dealers may get better treatment by Ford than others.
