Congrats on the new motor. Ford seems to be sparing no expense to make things right for several people on the boards. They also seem to be sensitive to the fact that people don't want to wait months to get their babies back. Now if only they would make the loaner cars Mustang GT's. After all if I wanted to drive a 3 year old Fiesta I could have purchased one.

I wish that were true for all of us. It's early, we'll see.

That's probably the worst part. Months of driving a horrific loaner but still paying your GT350 mortgage.
Yah, it's not fun as I have one in the parking lot right now. Not the worst thing ever, but definitely not something I'm used to driving. Brings me back to my early twenties though in a way. ;)

I have involved Ford and have a Case# with them. My frustration is that Ford won't even give my dealer a decision on whether I'm getting a new engine or not.

Plus, they want to give me my car back while they decide what to do. I don't know if I want them to do that or not based on a few things. I'm going to talk to them again today and get all of the information that is available to me and start making more noise with Ford. I've been very patient and my dealer has been great, but the silence from Ford on the issue after two weeks is getting old.
Damn, good luck! I didn't know your engine replacement was still up in the air.

Regarding rentals, it sucks. My dealer is out of loaners so they are paying for an Enterprise rental. I had a 40k like Corolla first then they made sure to get me into a Ford, an 18k~ mile Fusion. Idk how Ford could afford to have enough loaners such that every owner gets a vehicle similar to what they have.

I'd probably be ok with a Fusion if it was loaded. Definitely not a sub ST level Focus but beggers can't be choosers. The 2007 Impala Chevy gave me while they had my Vett in the shop was an embarrassment to the domestic auto industry.

I thought it was decided, but apparently not. So that is what I'm trying to figure out now. Supposedly there was supposed to be some big meeting at Ford last Tuesday and they were going to know after that. Well that came and went and nothing.

Yah, I obviously don't expect a one for one loaner, but I think they could do a bit better than a Fiesta. Like I said though, at least I have a loaner so I don't have to pile miles on my truck or get a rental.

Make sure your techs go over the new motor with a fine tooth comb. FYI.
No doubt! I will look over the engine myself prior to install.

The way Ford warranty works is pretty bureaucratic. I've never, ever, not once heard of a "big meeting to determine warranty eligibility". My family has been in the Ford world for years and I've heard it all. But that's a new one. All Ford will do in extreme situations is send an engineer to inspect the car. Beyond that, it's either a yes or no.

I hear yah, apparently excessive oil usage is becoming a common problem and it is happening to a lot of the Voodoos. The meeting was supposed to be about what they are going to do all of these problems. This is according to people at my dealer.

I can only go on what they tell me so who knows.

Make sure it's an actual, new shortblock instead of one that's been rebuilt and has a crack in one of the cylinder walls.........

Whipple sc automatically = billet opgs, I'm surprised you didnt install them. I'm in the middle of a n/a build and i went with tss opgs and billet crank gears...my red line will be near 7800 rpm with stage 3 cams and a gt -350 intake...its a no brainer..supporting mods are just as important as primary ones...its a hard lesson to learn!

Sometimes I think we believe more information gets to the execs at big blue than what actually does. How much of the cross talk on this car is staying within SVT, and what is being ran from higher?
