I could use my fellow members input. Besides price which is the better system in terms of growth potential, drivability (running like stock or better), installation, quality, and maintenance. Thanks for your input.

If you search there are a few threads describing advantages of both. I am trying to make the same choice but I am also looking at the whipple.

1. Procharger has a less restrictive inlet and pulls air from the inner fender vs under hood. Most people run the paxton without a filter when on the dunk or track.
2. Procharger is easier to install
3. Paxton is cheaper and has more potential than the p1sc
4. Paxton has aluminum piping vs steel on pro charger
5. Paxton is more difficult to get to clear the hood and you have to remove hood liner

My hood closed just fine. No issues with hood on my paxton kit.

I added two washers on each side of the hood latch and my hood liner is still installed. Clears just fine. But both are good setups.

Damn, I'm also having same dilemma.
Slamdcoop0428 made even harder for me to choose.
I personally like Paxton sound better and lower price is definitely a plus. What I don't like about Paxton is belt and pulley swap and some minor mods to coolant and vacuum lines, unlike procharger is more of a plug and play kit.
I've been going back and forth on my decision and I am still torn apart between the two.

Comparing apples to apples there is less than $500 dollar difference between the procharger and Paxton beefcake special set ups.

Procharger is releasing a new supercharger to go with their kits.

I might be a little bias since I bought a paxton but..

Paxton>Procharger
Cost, potential power and looks (Black Paxton = $250 compared to $450 Black PC).

I got a procharger HO kit for the price of a Paxton ... You have to shop around a bit ..Easy install , no cutting or clearance problems ..Drives like stock till you stick your foot in it ...I did have a custom tune done because I upped the boost ..640HP/561TQ with a 3.50 pulley, BAP and ID 1000 injectors ..Mine is a auto so the dyno numbers read a bit lower than a M6 ..would I do it over ? Hell yes but I would buy the tuner kit and have custom tune ( on a dyno ) and not this remote tune crap ..

My paxton car is remote tuned only. On the street from data logs. Made 680whp/512tq on a mustang dyno so 730-740whp on a dynojet, and is also an auto. Thing drives fantastic. Remote logging is just as good as a dyno tune if not better since your tuner is seeing the true load and varaible street conditions where you car normally is.

It is closer to 1000 if you go with helical gears, d1SC and the stage two intercooler. From what I have read you need those upgrades to have comparable potential to the paxton. I guess the cost difference could be less if you can get a greater discount on the procharger. My main gripe on the paxton is the inlet. I don't want to run the car without the inlet and it eats about 1-2 PSI from what I have read.

both are great systems,

a stage 2 procharger with d1, and paxton will be very comparable setups.

similar intercooler and head unit potential.

we sell alot of both systems,

if your doing a custom package, we can dial you in either way, give me a shout and we'll try to help you figure out the best way to go

D1 Procharger setup tuned by Lund and don't look back. The kit is meticulously put together and fits like it belongs there with no cutting. The sound is unreal when cruising and when things get quiet the fun begins! Love the PC kit!!!

I was going between whipple and PC. Paxton was never really an option, not because it isn't a good kit, but I wanted plug and play. Not 100% sure why i didn't go whipple but i would still choose PC if i had to make the choice again.
