I kept my manual rear end and just bought a shaft masters ds with a manual rear connector. They will build it for you, same price as a regular one.
If you replace the yoke, you run into the chance of unloading the bearing. It's a risk I didn't want to take.
I just found the same issue with mine when I swapped my transmission out. I did switch over to a boss 302, so I was thinking I might have broke a coolant line. I found coolant on the top of my cylinder head by the injectors, so I don't think its a head gasket failure.
I'm going to check...
Sorry.. I meant the wiring harness. I bought everything through https://parts.autonationfordwhitebearlake.com/ just like KCC did. I got into contact with Mike R, he's the mustang guy there. He looked up my vehicle wiring harness and found the one for the car, but in automatic.
I'm in the same boat as you right now.
Here's my plan.. I'm switching to a 6R80. I just ordered my circle d converter and waiting for the swap kit to come in. I'm going to buy rods/pistons for $1500 which will put me at 1000whp for the shortblock. I'm still not sure which unit to switch out to...
With the S/C, you'll need a fuel system if you're going to run E85. The BAP can only handle increase fuel for 93. Swap out the clutch if you have slipping issues. DO NOT buy the RXT, unless you want to buy a new MT82. Buy the RST and enjoy no slipping and not breaking the transmission.
Yeah, he owns CM Components.. Great guy! USMC Veteran, mustang owner and will go the extra mile for anyone. The top one is my car, profab built chromoly roll bar. :ford:
With knowing that now.. I don't think the pump wiring is the issue. The only wiring the installer should of done was, fusing together a few wires at the fuel pump wiring harness and running a power wire to the fuse box. It sound's like something else is causing an issue, unrelated to the fuel...
Tons of other places to order from than MMR.. I did buy their DAMPER/OPG but it was in stock at another retailer. The MMR Damper failed on me (AC pulley seperated from the damper after a couple thousand miles). They said it was my fault and they wouldn't cover anything. The tech support guy even...
Jason Lopez makes a really nice one and it's not expensive! He does custom logos and everything.
Here's the one he built for my car..
and here's his badass mustang.
Some big companies have picked him up, which wasn't his intention.. but Lethal, Steeda and some others..
Top quality...
