Lightning blue with a black roof. A few of the reasons why I ordered without stripes:

• I thought that stripes looked nice on Shelby GT500 cars a few years ago - then I researched the reason why cars were originally painted with stripes, and somewhat lost interest. If there are that many look-alike cars that stripes are needed to locate your car, maybe the car is not quote so special.
• In the last couple of years I have seen cars of all sorts with stripes, which once again means that stripes really do not help differentiate between regular cars and special cars.
• A month ago I was driving down the Ohio turnpike and in my rearview mirror I saw what looked like a race red V6 Mustang approaching with kid-racer aftermarket stripes. The car was only moving 2-3 MPH faster than me, so I had a chance to view it in the rear view mirror for a couple of minutes. As the car came closer, I noticed the GT350 badge in the grill - saw my first GT350 in the wild (I was rolling in the dirty lightning blue GT350 - if that was someone on the board, my excuse is that the rear view mirror vibrates and every car looks like either a Mustang, Camaro, or semi truck at a distance).
• All three of the 2016 GT350s in the showroom had stripes, and every one of those had visible horizontal scratches in the stripes from merely washing the cars.

There was a CO with stripes today at a show i was at. Looks good with and without. This may already be answered but why no CO R's??
