Replacing Air Filter?

Noob question: If i have an Airaid CAI, do I ever have to replace the filter? If so, how often?

Dry or oiled filter?

Just wash and allow to dry, then install.
Directions should have been with the kit, if not check out Air Raid for more info.

FYI, My last A/R CAI went 170,000 miles with no problem and was still installed when I sold the car this spring.

I think with a dry filter you should probably just replace it, at least I would. You can extend the life of the filter by washing it though. But for the price I would just replace it every 40,000 miles or earlier if it's gets really dirty. Oiled filters are meant to be used indefinitely, just wash, dry, re-oil, reinstall.

The stock filter/gt350 recommended 30K per oil change. Do air raid and gt350 use the same size filter? It's only like $15-30

Replace every 36000 miles or so. Depends on how dusty conditions are.

I thought the aftermarket filters such as k&n's have one million mile warranty. So all you have to do is either wash it, reoil and dry it or wash it and just dry it. If it makes you feel better, you can purchase a new one lets say every 10,000 miles or so but for that money you can buy 2 or 3 oem filters.
