Wanted to avoid a new thread. Thinking of sending my Mustang for her first oil change tonight. I just hit 1000 miles.. is it too early?
You can fill three or more threads with varied opinions on that. Mine?...doesn't need one now but if you got the cash and if it makes you sleep better at night, go for it. Jmho

Not too early IMO. Get some better fluid in there earlier AND get the initial wearing particles out.

So the Brotella club just isn't in the Subaru community... interesting. People act like it's the tears of unicorns.
i was about to say that. i used to drink the rotella T6 kool aid when i had my FBO 2011 WRX on E85. it may have been pretty good, it lasted all the way to 80k w/o blowing any ringlands or getting rod knock. sold that ticking time bomb when my 15 was delivered in november 14

I put a 210 pound guy in the back seat and a 220 pound guy in the passenger seat and drove them 3 miles and back without incident. Mind you, we aren't talking about the back seat guy getting out. :)

I just installed the new Carbon Dynamics carbon fiber/suede steering wheel and I am very pleased with the feel and quality of the wheel.

Also added Billet Oil Cap, Coolant Cap, Brake Fluid Cap and Windshield Washer Fluid Cap

Only a few small items left for under the hood that are on backorder then its completed

Installed a J&M Products X-Pipe and the Borla S-Type Axle-back.

And here is how it sounds:

Sorry about the quality of the video. I got my neighbor's kid to take it and it scared him so bad that he couldn't hold the phone straight :headbang:
You've got great taste! Enjoy!!!

Installed the Barton short throw shifter. Throw feels much shorter..it also feels like it's much more precise with shifts. It is quite stiff side to side though .

I don't think most of the cosmetic mods for the S550 are that nice, this car just doesn't like to be cosmetically modded. However, that's the best damn steering wheel I've ever seen, how much does it cost? And your hood is the best looking aftermarket hood I've seen. Good work.
