OEM ripoffs.
I have MFT NAV and hate the idea of shelling out $150 each year for a map chip that is already nearly a year old. My 2015 A5 was digitized in 2014!
I also own a Jeep Wrangler. Dealer tried to get me to buy the NAV unit with bluetooth and voice commands, for an extra $1200. Annual updates cost more than $100. Instead, I bought a GPS unit with a screen one inch larger than the one in the Jeep. It also has bluetooth, with voice command, free traffic updates and free lifetime (twice a year) map updates for a one time cost of $250.
By the way it is made by the same company that provides Jeep with their NAV system.
