Well I wouldn't say it's a good smell, but I don't think it's terrible. I still have the stock DP on my car, but from other catless cars I've been around it's not that bad. From what I've heard it's more noticeable at startup and kind of goes away once the engine is warmed up.

Oh okay well I guess I'll confirm this because I think I'm gonna drop the exhaust and go with the cat less DP. I want to see what the car sounds like with these mods before I put on an exhaust.

Hey everyone,

I'm a complete noob when it comes to mechanical work. All I know is I like to go fast and I finally was able to buy a fast car. And guess what. I want to make it faster. I'm looking at a BBK 3 in Downpipe(catted),a CAI intake by Airaid(oiled), a magnaflow street series exhaust(Cat-back), an S&R performance intercooler, and a Bama X4 tune. Now I don't even have 2k miles on the car(2016 ecoboost) and I'm paranoid the parts I'm getting will blow up my turbo or ultimately kill the car. So here I am searching for the aid of more experienced mustang owners. Are the parts okay? Should I be worried about anything? Should I get a bigger turbo for these parts? Will this shit blow up my engine? My dealership doesn't have a problem with aftermarket parts as long as they don't cause any problems. Also the parts are all direct fit and bolt ons. Oh and how much HP should I gain from these mods(to the crank and RW)? Sorry for all the questions I'm a paranoid noob.

Thanks

You will have no issues with those mods what so ever on your vehicle! We had ran big turbo on our vehicle and was pushing 551rwhp on the stock engine with no issues what so ever! Stock the car makes around 255rwhp and for stage 3 which is considered intake, FMIC, Cat-Back and DP which should make around 340rwhp. You can always get more power too from running either e85 or a Meth Injection Kit. I hope this helps and if you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

I'm taking it down to a speed shop next weekend! I'll make sure to give you guys the before and after dyno results :)

Got back from the shop! Holy cow! It's a new car. She's pushing 315 hp to the rear wheels now!

The monster has been created!! Now big turbo next :thumbsup: Glad to hear everything went smoothly!
Oh yeah it has :D I'm looking at getting the Mishimoto radiator, Mishimoto coolant tank, a Mishimoto oil catcher, and a MBRP street cat-back! Then I can hopefully jump to a stage 3 tune with a bigger turbo! :ford:

What mods did they install?
I got a COBB CAI, COBB Stage 2 93 octane tune, Mishimoto intercooler, and a BBK 3in Downpipe (cat-less)!
