Could that be a smart move?
Whom 's move ?

Just cause a guy has bottom end noises doen't mean ya go away with out an update to the most logical course of action ...

Shoot these guys are running down pops and farts now ..

There is a thread about these factory plugs and how they were coming from the factory with different gaps ..
Yer move .

Not sure if your referring to my situation or not but my factory plug lost a ceramic. I then switched to NGK and gapped them to .028 without messing them up bit I was having those misfire issues 4k rpm and up full throttle. Got a second pair and same issue. Got Denso today and just dropped them straight in and bam I've had no issues all day and I've had a good amount of full throttle today

Appreciate your full accounting of the obvious ...

Is your meth kit on? If so, try turning it off and switching to a 91/93 only tune and making some pulls without meth.

Meth wasn't on. weirdly went all day no issues. Only a last run to the store did some 3rd and 4th pulls and it's missing.

The next time you're going to be driving it and getting it close to the rpm zone where this happens, try to get a log and let's see if we can tell anything from that.

You can upload it to datazap. That's an excellent program for reviewing logs and I use it exclusively.

Ok. Still in CA so will be a bit till then. However have driven 800 miles since I noted the issue was back, that was only present that night for some reason. I've had numerous 3rd and 4th pulls one to 140 and am currently not having an issue. This is inconsistent AF.

Here's a question, my knowledge of things is limited so if this is stupid disregard. I drained my battery a month ago accidentally. Had to get jumped and everything, could that have an effect on the power going to the pump or the coils? Btw issue still definitely present.

Wouldn't think so. Datalog is still the way to go. Would be pretty rare for the FP to be failing as it would be leaning out all cylinders I would expect.

Clean the connectors for the coil packs and visually inspect the wiring to them the best you can. Next step swap out the coil packs with other member/friend and if that is the fault swap out one at a time until you find the unserviceable one.

Problem is I have used another members coils lol he doesn't have issues yet I still got sputtering with his. So I don't believe the plugs or coils to be it. But I could very well be wrong
