Have you been wearing jeans while in the car?

I do, but the wear is on the back part of the seat where it hugs you around the waist. It looks like it happening when I get in and out of the car.

Same here! Don't feel bad. I have to wear slacks and a button up for work. What does it in my case is my belt rubbing when I get in the car. I feel it rub every time. The struggle is real. I try to keep up with leather conditioner the best I can to keep it at a minimum. I have a guy at work that does seat repair. But its just going to keep happening. And I am not a big guy either. 5'9" 165...I just try not to look at it haha. Same thing on every car with a sport seat I ever owned, s2000, 370z, STI... And you cant say its cheap leather Ford uses either. Because I worked at a BMW dealership before Lexus and it was the same story over there on their cars especially M's. People always got pissed and that was with multiple types of upgraded leathers they offer too.

It would have been great if ford had fitted memory seats.....the ones in my Jeep move right back when you remove the key, and then move to the chosen driving position when you start the engine... makes getting in and out, especially for me so much easier...:(

Until you need a seat rail like I am having put in a GS350 right now at work. This is just the part at warranty price. Just made it in for warranty coverage too.

I don't know what package its part of, but my 2016 GT does that. When I shut off the engine, the seat moves way back and stays there until the car is started the next time. The exact seat position, and I'm pretty sure the outside mirrors, are remembered. And there are 3 buttons on the door for 3 different positions. If none are pressed, the seats return to the setting in use the previous time the car was driven.

Using this cuts down on the wear on the bolsters. I have other cars with this feature but don't use it in them because the bolsters are smaller. Will be interesting to see if the seat motors make it thru warranty. I don't think I've used the power seats in my Cadillac since the day I bought it but the Mustang's get used every time I drive the car because of this.

It even has the anti-Darnell feature to prevent this:

I always move the seat right back to make it easier to exit etc
But the seats are cheap, check out the finish gear knob side, at the bottom, it's not even leather and you can feel the metal frame.Because it's hidden they cut costs lol.

Leather looks good, for a while. I wouldn't have gone for leather had there been an option. Having only had old cars in the past, I've found that fabric can look and feel almost new after 5-10 years but leather stretches, sags and cracks sometimes almost from the word go. Also freezing in winter and can burn your skin in summer!
