You buy a warranty for the powertrain from roush, it's no longer ford's warranty.

Exactly why it'd never be an option for me. They could have designed their system to not require that. Seems so ridiculous.

The Roush s/c was a simple install. Grinding the aluminum was very easy and hurt nothing, no irreversible damage. Plus the fact that cjpp (Bill) did a step by step video sealed the deal for me. I wanted to do it myself. I like most systems but the DIY factor pushed me towards the Roush. If you have someone else do the install, you may choose differently. I am very happy with the Roush, lots of power throughout. Whipple does have some good looking S/C.
