Just trying to see if anybody else notices this while driving. My 2106 Auto GT has a weird humming noise when you hit 65mph. It goes away at 64 and 66. Just trying to figure out if anybody else has heard this on their car.

Does it go away in a mile or two?
Some people have driveshaft imbalance.

No it doesnt go away until i go under 65 mph. As soon as it hits 64 mph it goes away. Somebody just posted on Facebook saying people had driveshaft problems.

Either driveshaft or wheel balance issue.
Could be tires too.

Make sure you take a look at your Lemon laws now and the specific requirements. See if your dealer will take it back and order you another, with a generous discount for your trouble, rather than having to go through the lemon law. Mine comes in a month or so and I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Best of luck

Does the noise still exist for people who have switched to an aluminum drive shaft? I have the stock one and it's pretty quiet, but was curious if switching to an aftermarket DS fixed the issue for anyone.

I'd like to know that as well. If it does fix it, i'll just get one since my own damn dealership I work for doesn't wanna look at it/replace it (if it ultimately was the issue)

Lol. It seems that mentioning the forum gets under the skin of people who work at mechanic shops. I just start telling them I have a few friends now
