Just got my Velgen VMB6s back from the SECOND shop in attempts to powder coat them to a color that was similar to the original. Came out beautiful IMHO. Long story short, I scratched two of the wheels a few weeks back, got them touched up (didn't last too long), powder coated by a nearby shop (didn't get the color right), and then I finally took them to another shop that a few people recommended and it came out great.

Now I can finally take my car off of jack stands after being on there for two weeks.

Just check out your build thread. Impressive car! I like it alot...thinking of going with a Roush Stage 3 Phase 2 SC soon myself.

The fine folks at PetrolWerks in Lindenhurst, NY fabbed in some GT500 mufflers for me to go with my MRT h-pipe resonator delete:



I think it sounds great, and is very tame when the car is warmed up. I think it will pair really well with o/r headers.

Car looks great! Questions, I am going to mod my grill, was thinking about taking it all you did. Are you concerned at all about bugs/debre hitting the radiator?

Not at all. I don't think the stock grille really precludes anyone from having an unlucky rock or bug come through and hit the radiator, and many cars before mine have had empty grilles and been fine.

If I kill my radiator with the grille delete, I guess I'll just have an excuse to put a PP radiator in there. For now, I'm not worried and I'm really satisfied with the way it turned out. Thanks for the compliment!

Installed my JLT intake and SCT tuner last night with a Bama 93 tune. Wow I was surprised you can actually feel the difference in power. And the engine roars with the intake when you mat it. Definitely pleased.

No need to cover it. Just dip the whole thing then pic the dip out of the red dot area with a toothpick. That's what I did with the Sport emblem on my girlfriend's Explorer Sport.
