I wonder what other folks at the stoplight thought, seeing me gulping air like a fish out of water.
I dread going back into the car when I get off work later. I wonder how badly the Florida sun has baked this hell-stench into the interior of my car.
Epic post bro!
I was literally laughing out loud.

Got my Diode Dynamics replacement rear side markers in today. Put those in. Last night I installed Roush heat extractors. They look great. However there is one part that bows up on the driver side, not only does that particular clip "clip" very well right there, but the extractors are actually two pieces put together. And the actual vent part is bowed up over the base of the extractor. No way I can correct it on my own. Emailed American Muscle with a warranty claim request but nothing yet. You can see in a profile shot I posted below. It's not horrible, but these are not inexpensive pieces of plastic and I know it's there and will drive me crazy.

Did you trim the push pin that holds the hood liner at that area? It does push right up into that part of the heat extractor.

Yeah, it looks like this even with that pin not installed. It's definitely separation between the frame of the vent and the vent itself. The thing that the molded clips are on is a separate piece from the vent it just comes double sided taped and screwed together already from Roush. So that part that is bowed is like that not even installed. I just didn't notice till I put it on and also realized the clip doesn't fasten well in that same spot. The clip isn't causing the bow. It's a separate issue or the bow is causing the clip not to fasten properly.

Installed steeda progressives and jacking rails. Also 1inch spacers on all 4. It was dark when we finished so don't have any good pics yet.

I installed one side, it did the same thing. Only it was bowed enough to visibly see it from 10 feet away. I took it off and didn't even put on the other side. Sold them on the classifieds here on the forum in about 5 minutes. Literally 5 minutes. I'm going to 3M Di-noc Carbon wrap mine instead.
