Just picked up my 16 GT350 DIB on Friday. I've put 250 miles on it, and loving every minute of it. After about 100 miles, my brakes are screeching at every stop and I can't seem to make it stop. I've washed off the rotors three times, have come to several hard stops, and nothing seems to fix it. Is anybody else having this issue? It's driving me nuts!

Funny you mention that. I noticed today as well that now with 800km on mine are also screeching. Loud as shit and annoying.

Hum!

Hum! We have 558.7 miles on her and have not had this problem with the brakes on our 350.

On our GT we did have this problem with the brakes right at 1400.0 miles and Ford replaced brakes shoes, and rotors.... There was a technical service bulletin on the Squeaking brakes!

Hopes this helps some! John

Mine seemed to do it non stop for the first few hundred miles. It's a non issue now north of 500 miles.

GT350 2016 trak pak. 600 miles. Soft screech only only after pressing pedal. Barely noticeable. Was worse with less mileage. My guess is that you need to get the brake pads "bedded". A few hard brakes at 40-60mph will break them in. Has anyone that has tracked the car had this issue?

At 2500 miles and have had squeaky brakes since I picked it up. Figured it was just needing broke in or something. Haven't got around to scheduling time for dealer to look at. Also don't like the idea of a service tech test driving my car lol

I haven't tracked mine, but I sure haven't babied it either. Not real hard driving, but more than some owners on here would feel comfortable with after only so few miles. I don't have much self control with this exhaust sound! Figured it might be a 'new' issue and it would go away. Just didn't expect it. Will try a few REAL hard stops tomorrow.

For those of you still waiting, it's worth every minute of it! I've owned over 70 cars in the past 25 years and the gt350 is by far the most fun car of them all! Man that sound.....

4-5 repeated stops from 60mph to 10mph hard enough to trigger ABS should be enough to bed them. Taking the car on track did a lot for reducing brake noise but it'll come back after a while. Still the noise with stock pads is nowhere remotely close to what a set of Hawk pads sounds like so I call it a win.

I'll try it tomorrow. Thanks!

2000 miles brake noise occasionally but nothing serious. The salesman mentioned when I picked mine up that there might be brake noise, his comment insinuated that it might be inherent to the vehicle.
Good Luck:):)

I've noticed a little squeak on occasion, mostly when I'm just barely using the brakes. Definitely not a loud squeak on every stop. So I wouldn't say what you are describing is inherent to the car.

Had the same issue on my 15 EB. Took it to the dealer with a TSB and they replaced the front brake rotors and pads free of charge. Might see one coming for the GT350 hearing that it's not just you with the issue. Good luck getting squeal free!

Own it! Own the screech! I'mmmmmmmmmmm angrycar!

But seriously, if you start to feel a jitter when braking or if your steering wheel is fluttering, then you definitely have a problem.
