Mine started making a rattle noise in the right front suspension area this Tuesday.

They diagnosed Wednesday and replaced the right front strut today and the noise is gone.

I had a suspension knock / clunk whenever i go through speedbumps. The noise comes out on full compression of the shock absorber. Im on stock springs. Ford replaced my shocks for free because of warranty coverage. Now the noise is gone.

This just happened to me 2 days ago. Left the office late and my left front was clunking with every bump or if there was moderate weight transfer forward...it was LOUD

It really freaked me out at first, because if I started to weave the car, going left, right, left it would go clunk, clunk, clunk and I could feel something shifting in the suspension of the car. Went straight to tire kingdom to get the car on their lift thinking I had a very loose wheel spacer. All them were tight as a virgin so we let the car down and I drove home with the clunk.

I drive on brick roads, and every dip the left front took it would clunk

I still get it intermittently, I've had 3 trips to and from work with no sound... I wonder if the cold weather has affected the subframe bolts like others have referenced above. Really freaked me out in the beginning

Anyone else confirmed the noise is from the bolts mis-torqued?

i have my baby at the dealer trying to get them to fix this issue, at first they wanted to pass it off and say the noise was from my new cervini hood or the 350r spoiler.. both of which were installed a few days prior to drop off, mind you i made the appointment for this problem 2-3 weeks ago.

My car sounds and feels like a rattle can in front. I have the thud backing up in the morning and on bumpy roads it rattles and thuds on small bumps.

Edit --
UPDATE: Went and got it checked out, dealer replaced the front swaybar links under warranty and the issue has gone away

I have been having this exact issue as the OP. I guess I am going to take it into the dealer tomorrow. I have checked caliper bolts and suspension bolts and see nothing wrong or loose. Did anybody else have any other resolution?

I can't tell ya how happy I am to find this thread. I just went out to lunch and was like WTF IS THAT??!! Glad to see that others have had this issue, found a resolution, and all is good after going to the dealership. I now have an appointment with my dealership.
Thanks to all who posted their findings and results!!

I have a couple questions for those that had this issue. 1. Prior to dealer fixing, did the noise come and go? Meaning, yesterday going to lunch down a rather rough road I heard the noise repeatedly but I haven't heard it since. 2. I just left Grismer Tire. I went in to get my tires balanced and rotated and the manager said the left tow angle was -0.01 and the right tow angle was -0.03 too. Everything else was in check according to Ford's specs. So I went ahead with an alignment. I told him about the noise and the info on this thread and he thought if I was having an issue with sub frame bolts or struts, my alignment would be worse off than what it was. Did anyone have their alignment checked with this issue? Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance for any input!

My issue was the right front strut being bad. No noise ever since they replaced it.

That is for the bar that connects to the subframe. I was thinking the subframe itself is making the noise from what was posted. Those are large bolts and I do not think 89" pounds is correct for them.
