So the turbo is leaking oil? Lol I know this is your situation, but please don't just take what they tell you as the final say. If your not going aftrmRkrt turbo then I would do everything possible, if you do I would go with the Vargas stage 2 as it sounds amazing from what they have tested so far and a great price. Good luck!

Car was put back yo stock 2 days before and even reset the KAM they just plug in the OBD II port and they say oh hes tuned

Doesn't matter. Your reflash back to stock will have a timestamp in the event log. Showing someone reflashed the tune. If ford has no record of doing tat reflash, you are screwed, because that is the one part of the car they have complete control of.

Sorry. It is common knowledge that if you tune, you run the risk of voiding a warranty. You played the "game" and lost. When you do the tune like that, you are playin with fire.

Cut your losses and move on.

Not true at all!!!! I know someone who has blown an engine with a tune with this car and had it covered under warranty because it was engine failure from the factory. It's how hard you fight and what you can prove, are you taking a risk yes, is it like your saying? No

I'm still trying to figure out what the smoke has to do with the turbo? I have not heard of this yet....
Really. This is turbo 101 stuff.

Blown turbos #1 symptom is consumption of oil and blue smoke (big or small amounts) out the tail pipe.

Oil is used as a primary coolant for the turbo. When you have a bad turbo, the oil is either burnt off because of high heat or worse sent out the exhaust as part of a bigger failure.

He said his turbo was fine actually, the dealership is who told him it was the turbo, my point is Mr. Gt turbo 101 most of the oil issues with this car that have been posted on this forum with smoke issues have not been turbo issues was my point, and you are very wrong about every tuned car being screwed out of warranty work.

I had this same exact issue and my turbo was replaced and covered under warranty because the turbo housing had an exhaust leak, that's a ford issue and not one that had anything to do with mod or tune. I would look on the front side of the turbo and see if you can see soot buildup or carbon? If so I would take it somewhere get it leak cheked and if that's the case I would fight the shit out of it

He was a lucky exception. Majority of us won't be so lucky. Such as myself and evan.

this was in Texas and like I said I took it to another shop first and had it leaked checked, found the leak on the front of the housing and brought it in and showed them all the carbon and soot.
