Has anyone lost an engine due to a power added. Not from pushing the limits but from some else?

I haven't heard of any. As long as you aren't trying to push the limits on pump and have a good tune, you will be fine.

Yeah I am just wondering. I have done a lot of research, I just want to make sure there aren't any known issues with the stock motors before I void my warranty

These Coyotes are some pretty sturdy sons-a-bitches. Get a good tune, do your maintnance, and you should be good.

we actually exceeded the limits of the block, before hurting anything in the engine

at about 950 wheel, we finally pushed through the water jacket area (the weakest link in the block)

piston and rods were still in good shape

I recall one failure due to a failed boost controller on a TT setup. Otherwise no customer cars that I'm aware of so far.

Read the last post to the link below, then read the entire thread and pay close attention to what the owner of whipple and then Travis from boost works says. Thousands of 15/16 out there with no issue. If your gonna race then I would do it for piece of mind, otherwise no.

How many failures have their been? Only the one guy posted a failure on that thread, and I am assuming each failure would generate a lot of noise on this site.

Getting the aftermarket parts installed by a shop would add quite a bit of expense. How much is an engine rebuild if the sprocket did fail?

Just making up numbers, if its $1000 to get the parts installed, vs. $4000 to rebuild the motor, and a failure is a rare event, is it still worth doing?

I would like to see better photos of the stock part vs. the MMR part. From photos I have seen so far, I cannot tell that the MMR part is much more robust.

Not mine, but the core I bought to build. It was a 2015 with 2500 miles on it.

Busted ring land from the looks of it. Likely too much heat caused the ring ends to butt into each other.

That's what happens when you do extended top-end runs on boost with very tight clearances on the rings.

There was some slight signs of detonation also. I think the just ran cheap gas in it.
